3rd Person POV

NO NO NO. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!

Tony was in his bed, he can't sleep thinking about what he just said earlier.

Y-You can stay at my mansion for a while..!

He thought about it again. He blushed.

"Eeep!" He stuffed his face on the pillow, his heart was melting, not in a bad way but in a good way. "THIS IS SO EXCITING!" Tony yelled at his pillow.

He then removed his face from it and gasped for air, he realized he haven't packed his stuff yet.

Tony sighed as he looked down, "Maybe this was a bad idea.."

"Nah, this'll be good!"

"Nope. Nope, Nope, Nope."

"And then..I'll be with Steve together forever!"

"This is so stupid.."

"Hmm, maybe this'll be a good start!"

"No. Totally not."

Tony was talking all by himself again, he was thinking if should he really do this? or not. He put his hands on his face, feeling like a failure. "What do I do...?"

Knock Knock

"Um, Tony?" A familliar voice suddenly came.

"Yeah?" Tony answered.

"It's me, Steve. Can I come in?"

"HOLY BAZOOKA!" Tony suddenly fell on the floor as he jolted.

"Are you ok in there? Are you busy?" Steve asked.

Tony sighed in defeat, "Come in.."

The door then opened slowly, Steve was peeking around. "Thank you." He smiled as he stepped inside and close the door.

"Yeah." the playboy looked away while he stood up. "What do you want anyways?"

"Oh, um. I just wanted to check you out if you've already packed yet." Steve smiled nervously. "But..I guess you haven't." He looked around his room.

"Yeah, ok. So? Are you too excited for tomorrow?" Tony continued to act fierce.

"Tony, why are you acting like that?" Steve began to ask.

"It's cause I hate you." Tony scoffed, but he felt his heart skipped a bit because of how Steve cared about him so much.

"Then why did you invite me to your house?" the soldier continued asking.

Tony grumbled, "Ugh, you're so dumb." He rolled his eyes. "I'll start packing now, so can you just leave my room?"

"Oh, ok." Steve smiled at him. He then proceeded to the exit.

"Remember, THIS DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING BETWEEN US STEVE." Tony said but then the door slammed shut. He sighed.

I have to call Pepper about this.

He then called her, and while waiting for her answer, he started to clean up his things and pack up his stuff.

"Yes, hello?" Pepper suddenly answered.

"Hey Pepps, it's me again." Tony replied tiredly.

"Hey, you haven't got to sleep yet?"

"Nope."

"So, why did you call me?"

Tony took a breath and explained everything, "Well, tomorrow I'll leave the tower and get back to the mansion again."

"Wait, really? Did you do something again?" She asked.

"No, Fury said we needed a break from hero stuff."

"Oh. Well, that's good I guess?"

"But not just that."

"What do you mean?"

"I..well, I invited Steve to stay for the rest of our vacation." He said shyly.

"WAIT WHAT?" Pepper said.

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID, OK? I JUST, I-IT JUST SUDDENLY CAME OUT FROM MY MOUTH!" Tony almost yelled as he began to panic.

"Ok, ok. Calm down. I'm not shocked or anything, I totally expected that." She chuckled playfully.

"Whaaat?" Tony got a bit confused.

"Oh, please. You can do this, and I don't mind Steve being here in the mansion. Actually, you can also bring another person with you, it's getting lonely here." She said.

"Ok, I'll try." He responded.

"See you tomorrow, Tony."

"Bye."

They both ended the call.

•••

Sigh.

Steve was sitting on his bed, while looking at a certain picture on his hand that he's been hiding a long time. A picture of Tony, yes.

"Hey?" Natasha suddenly barged in to his room.

"Woah!" Steve jolted, "Would you stop doing that?"

"Ah...that's Tony alright?" Natasha avoided his question and pointed at the picture he was holding.

Steve sighed, looking down at the picture and turned to Natasha.

"I love him so much.." He mumbled.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Natasha asked again, testing if she just misheard that.

"I-I mean, I..miss him." Steve put the picture down his nightstand.

Natasha smirked and decided to sit beside him, she patted his back. "It's ok, sometimes people do change."

"I know, and I accept him for who he is. But still, it doesn't look like he gets it." Steve frowned a bit.

"Oh come on, he'll get it soon, maybe someday?" She continued comforting her friend.

"I hope so.." Steve looked at her and smiled a bit.

"So, you have any plan on how you'll act with Tony in his mansion? I mean, it'll just be the two of you guys, except Pepper." Natasha shrugged.

"I still don't know about that. Right now, I'm trying my best to be soft and gentle with him, I gave up on ranting about him and stuff. I don't want our relationship to break, I want it to be better."

Natasha smiled, "Then, you'll have to get better at winning him too." She grinned.

Steve blushed, looking down, embarrassed. "H-How?"

"How?" She asked herself. "Hmm, what do you think?"

He just shrugged.

"Well, that's up to you now." Natasha stood up and ruffled his hair. "I gotta get up early tomorrow. Hope you'll figure out what you're looking for soon, goodnight." She then left and closed the door.

But what does she means?

Steve continued thinking about it, "Hm, maybe I shouldn't over think it or it'll just get worse." He sighed, flopping on his bed, his hair was a little messy because of Natasha.

He held his hand up, looking at it.

What should I do?

That was the only question flowing on his mind right now, but he shook his head, trying not to think of it too much. He then, put his hand down, he slowly closed his eyes, "Goodnight, Tony."
