Chapter 7: Our Little Secret.
Peyton walked into work the next day with a huge grin on her face. Lisa walked up to her with skeptical eyes.
“Why do you look so happy? She said following Peyton in the office.
Peyton looked around and then shut the office door. She shrieked and hugged Lisa. Lisa just looked at her like she had lost it. The Peyton she knew was not a giggling school girl.
“Oh my gosh! I had the best night last night!” Peyton said.
“With Stark?” Lisa asked skeptically. She didn't want to see Peyton get involved with that poor excuse for a man.
“No! Ew. God no! With Christian Banks!” Peyton squealed.
Lisa's mouth dropped.
“Christian Banks as in thee Christian Bank's, who hosts the Christian Bank's Foundation ball!?” Lisa said now excited too.
Peyton nodded and bit her bottom lip.
“Oh Lis! He is so gorgeous! We spent the whole night just talking and drinking tea, in his apartment!” She said.
Lisa couldn't help but turn into a giggling school girl with her.
“OH MY GOD! You seen the inside of his apartment!?” Lisa asked.
Peyton nodded.
“Peyton this is HUGE! He hasn't dated since his high school sweetheart dumped him three years ago.” Lisa explained.
Peyton blushed.
“He said he really likes me.” Peyton explained.
Lisa shrieked.
Before they could talk anymore Stark walked in. He slammed the door behind him and stomped over to Peyton and slammed a gossip magazine on her desk. Lisa's eyes went wide and scurried out. Peyton rolled her eyes and picked up the magazine. She looked at front page. It had a large photo of Christian's handsome face, he was grinning. She smiled and ran her hands across his face. She read the bold print on the top.
'Christian Bank's Finally Puts Stark Reed In His Place'
Peyton quickly flipped to the page. There were pictures of Peyton and Stark walking into the foundation party. Then there were pictures of Peyton leaving with Christian; and more pictures of Christian and Peyton on their lunch date and almost kissing with a angry Stark running toward them. She read the caption.
Finally after years of bowing down to the almighty Stark Reed. Christian Bank's steps up and finally brings the arrogant air head down to earth. Our question is who is this beauty and why has she attracted so much attention from these filthy rich bachelors?
