Your bestfriend loves you

You're going to a party and you found out the guy you've been speaking to Brad is going which should be fun but he might not be going but you don't really know so you're not going to get too excited. You decide you put your hair in a high ponytail, you do a bit of makeup and then for your outfit you choose a little black dress with white converse. Your friend Olly texts you and tells you he's outside so you grab your phone and walk outside to see him in his car so you hop in the other side
"Hi" you say
"Hi you look great" He says in a friendly way
"Just like you then" you reply with a little laugh and then he drives you both to the house, you get out the car and so does he you both walk into the house and see many familiar faces but also some not so familiar faces. You and Olly go and grab a drink and on your way you talk to a bunch of people and old friends. You have your drinks and start to just talk to people but Olly keeps standing really close to you and trying to touch your hand which is a bit weird he's never really done that before
"Here let's sit down" Sarah the girl your talking to says and you nod and sit on the sofas and just continue to chat but Olly then does the yawn trick and puts his arm over your shoulder which makes you a bit uncomfortable why does he keep trying to touch you? You then ignore it and keep talking to Sarah but then Olly gets even closer to the point where your thighs and hips are literally touching
"Two minutes I'm going to the toilet" you excuse yourself and make your way to the toilet when you get out you see a very familiar face walking towards you with a huge smile
"Didn't think I would be seeing you tonight" brad says as he walks over to you and gives you a hug
"I didn't think you were coming" you tell him
"Oh if you're around I'll be somewhere" he says which makes you laugh
"Stalker" you say sarcastically
"You look gorgeous by the way" he says
"You look amazing by the way who did you come with?" You ask
"I came with Tris what about you?" He Asks
"I came with Olly" you tell him and he rolls his eyes
"Ugh" brad huffs
"What?" You ask
"I don't like him" brad tells you
"Why?" You ask with a confused expression
"He fancies you so much like any opportunity he can get to touch you he will take it, Why doesn't he understand that you're mine and only mine?" Brad tells you and you would try and defend him but what he's saying is true
"Haha you can't deny it" brad says laughing
"I'm going to go and talk to Sarah for a bit more and then I'll come and find you" you tell him and he nods and gives you a quick kiss on the lips
"I'll see you soon beautiful" he says with a wink which makes you giggle and then you walk back to find Sarah and Olly in the middle of a conversation they then notice you come back and Olly looks at your whole body up and down but you just sit down and pretend like you don't notice but he keeps doing it
"What took you so long?" Sarah Asks with a smirk
"I was talking to brad" you say with a smile
"Ugh" Olly says
"What?" You ask him
"Look I don't like him he's not good enough for you he doesn't even love you unlike me I love you so much" Olly says and you just stand there shocked and uncomfortable not even able to look him in the eyes and not knowing whether to laugh or to cry
"What?" Sarah Asks
"Look Y/n I love you" he repeats
"What?" Brad Asks and you wonder how long he's been there for
"You heard" Olly snaps and you're still frozen in shock he's your best friend how could he feel that way
"I don't think she loves you" Sarah says and you are internally thanking her because you are still speechless
"Do you love me?" Olly Asks
"Not in that way no" you answer and it looks like his heart has been torn out of his chest and then he stands up and storms away
"What the hell?" Sarah says
"What just happened?" You ask totally confused and brad sits down beside you and gives you a big bear hug
"I told you he has bad news" brad says with a wink and you burst out laughing
"I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry because it was funny because I thought it was a joke and then I realised it wasn't a joke and that he fancies me which is extremely weird" you say
"Yeah If I'm honest i didn't know whether to laugh or to punch him" brad says and you and Sarah just laugh
"Well that's plenty of partying for me I'm away home" you say laughing
"Honestly me too I'll take you home and I'm assuming he brought you here" brad says
"Okay let's go, I'll see you soon Sarah" you say as you give her a hug and then you get into brads car and start talking
"Well that was eventful" you say laughing as you make it to your door
"Very," brad says "well I'll see you soon darling" he says as he gives you a kiss on the lips and then you go home and fall asleep.
