You and are very good friends with Kirstie Brittain she is the responsible one out of your friend group but she's single so you and Your boyfriend Bradley have a plan that you would set up her and James Mcvey the sensible one in his band. You call her and Bradley calls James, she picks up almost instantly she's always on alert unlike the rest of you guys you don't reply for about three days and you don't realise your phone was ringing
"Hello" You say
"Hello are you okay?" She replies
"Yes I'm fine how are you?" You ask
"I'm good what's up?" She asks
"good good I was wondering do you are busy today" you say
"I've not got anything planned" she says
"Oh good meet me at the cafe in twenty minutes I feel like we haven't had a catch up in ages" you say
"Yeah its been awhile I'll see you soon" She says and then you hang up and run to Bradley who's still on the phone, he notices you are there and gives you a thumbs up to ask if Kirstie said yes and you nod and he fist pumps the air which makes you laugh. You then run upstairs quickly do your makeup and put on a white crop top and a pair of Nike leggings. You walk downstairs and see Bradley is sitting on the sofa
"So when will James and I come?" He asks as you planned that you and Kirstie would be there and Bradley and James would walk in and then sit with you guys and hopefully James and Kirstie will fall in love, unlikely but you never know. You kiss Bradley on the cheek and then drive to the cafe, when you get there Kirstie is already there, you don't understand how she's always so prepared, organised and early when you are always unprepared, unorganised and late. You walk over to her and give her a hug, you start talking for a while and the Bradley and James walk in
"Is that your boyfriend?" Kirstie asks and you turn around to face him and motion for him to come over, he gives you a kiss on the cheek
"What are you doing here?" You ask with a small smirk
"Oh James and I came for a coffee" he says
"Why don't you join us" you say
"Kirstie this is James my band mate and James this is Kirstie one of Y/ns best friends" Bradley introduces and they give each other a hug
"What do you two want? and brad and I will get if for you" you ask and they tell you what they want and you and Bradley walk up to the counter and wait in the queue, you stand so he is facing James and Kirstie and you are facing the counter
"What's happening?" You ask
"They are talking and laughing so it's going good" Bradley tells you and you smile to yourself. After a while you get your drinks and then you sit down, Kirstie and James have been getting on well, they even exchanged numbers! Little did you know that weeks later they would start dating and years later they are engaged! you and Bradley got married a year ago and you are hanging out with Kirstie and James and you decided to tell them that you set them up
"Did you know we set you up?" You ask them
"Wait what?" They both say at the same time
"Yeah we had planned us walking in to the cafe and then us leaving you two when we ordered the drinks" Bradley says
"Aww I'm glad you did" James says as he pulls Kirstie in to a hug and kisses her temple. You and Bradley smile at what you guys created.
