Sometimes we think that if we run a little faster or cut a little deeper, everything will be okay. So we do. We try harder and hope that we can be accepted. But sometimes, almost always, it doesn't. We can't be accepted for who we are. And some of us, we can break. We all break, eventually and the world comes crumbling down all around us. As hard as we try, nobody can accept us, nobody will understand us because we're different. We have scars that show just above the shirt line, letting everybody know who we are. We are named a never-ares, never-weres and never-will-be's.

The label us and beat us down, never knowing what we have gone through. We all break, we crack and gasp for help as we slip into never-ending nothingness. For all those who slipped, who lost, who were labeled, there was us. We stayed and stood our ground waiting for the blood and scabs to disappear.

We where always there for each other. Through the sleepless nights, we were the never-evers that sat in the middle of the bus and hung around the football field. That's who we where and who we would always be.
