Y/n's POV

We both laugh.

Y/n - I just want to say thank you.

Grayson - what for?

Y/n - everything.

Grayson - you're welcome Y/n.

I think about yesterday, Grayson called me babe, was that a coverup or was it for real.

Y/n - why did you call me babe yesterday?

Grayson - when?

Y/n - when you told me to go to the car.

Grayson - oh um I don't know.

I look into his eyes as he looks into mine, our faces get closer and closer until our lips connected, we pulled apart and I saw a smile on his face. Wait, we're fake dating, Grayson's a fuckboy.

Y/n - Grayson

Grayson - yeah?

Y/n - I can't do this

Grayson - Why

Y/n - I won't give in Grayson, I don't want to get hurt, I've been hurt way too many times. I know your kind I'm not giving in again.

Grayson - no Y/n, you need to know the whole story.

Y/n - so there's a story?

Grayson - yes, I've liked you for over a year now Y/n. I don't know what I was thinking when I thought that fucking other girls would make you jealous, it obviously didn't work. I came to your school so that we could be together, I made up my mind before attending that school that I wouldn't fuck anyone. I decided to make up the fake dating shit so that we'd become closer.

Y/n - Grayson, I'm happy you came to my school, I'm grateful we are closer but I don't think you like me.

Grayson - of course I like you Y/n, you're beautiful, brave, courageous and so much more.

Y/n - So you actually moved schools to get closer to me?

Grayson - of course I did.

Y/n - and why didn't Ethan move there.

Grayson - because he wanted to wait until the start of next year

Y/n - that makes sense.

Grayson - so, will you give it a try?

Y/n - I guess.

Grayson - thanks Y/n, be ready for 9.

Y/n - why?

Grayson - I'm taking you out for breakfast.

Y/n - ok.

9:03am

When I was finished getting ready, I followed Grayson out of the house and into his car. He drives me to a coffee shop, we ordered our coffees and sat down at a booth.

Grayson - What do you want to talk about?

Y/n - I don't know

He stares at me, I look around and see someone with their phone out pointing at us, I stare at the phone. I didn't want to be recorded or anything, the waiter came over and gave us our coffees, we thanked them then I looked towards the person who had the phone out, she was smiling and still on the phone.

Grayson - What's wrong Y/n?

Y/n - N..nothing

Grayson - Y/n, look at me.

I looked into his eyes.

Grayson - what's wrong?

Y/n - I just saw a person with their phone out, I think that they were recording us.

Grayson looks up and whispers under his breath "Shit"

Grayson - Just ignore them Y/n, you're ok don't worry.

I smile at him and we drank our coffee and talked about school. When we finished our coffee Grayson took me out and we drove to a shopping centre, he walked around with me into different shops.

Grayson - What hoodie should I get?

Y/n - um, that one

I point to a plain grey hoodie, he takes it down and looks at me.

Grayson - Any clothes you want to look at?

Y/n - no thanks.

He takes my hand and leads me to the womens section, I looked at the clothes and didn't like the styles in the store, I didn't have any money for anything either so it worked out. Grayson paid for his hoodie then we walked out of the shop and I heard many people yelling Grayson's name. Grayson looked behind me and said.

Grayson - I'll explain later

He walked over to the crowd of girls and I followed.

? - Can we get a photo?

? - Grayson?

? - Where's Ethan?

There were so many muffled voices, there were probably around 15 girls around Grayson and I was standing next to him. I hate crowds and there was one around me, I pushed through the girls and out of the crowd. I looked over at them and started to walk off, I sat down on a chair and waited for the crowd to leave.

? - Y/n?

I turn around to be faced with Jacob, I roll my eyes and he smirks.
