Ten

Y/n's POV

I ignore it and got out of the car and walked towards them, Grayson was on the phone to the police while I stood there watching my mom, she gave me a deadly look so I looked away. Soon enough the police took my mom and surprisingly Ash as well. When the police left it was just Ethan, Grayson and I and to be completely honest I was a wreck. I didn't want to show them how much I was suffering.

Grayson - Ethan, do you want to go to Jacob's while I take Y/n back to ours?

Ethan - yeah, see you later Y/n.

Y/n - bye...

Once Ethan leaves I look down, a single tear drop falls from my left eye.

Grayson - Y/n-

All my sadness that I've been hiding has built up and came out in anger.

Y/n - I told you to leave! None of this would of ever happened if you left! She's going to kill me now! And it's all your fault! All your fault!

I look up at him.

Y/n - You ruined everything!

I start punching him, I knew I wasn't doing any damage as my fists just hit his rock hard abs. I start crying as I stop punching for a second.

Y/n - I'm going to die! I'm going to die. I'm going to die...

I begin to punch him again.

Grayson - Y/n.

Grayson - Y/n!

Grayson - Y/N!

He holds my head against his chest until my breathing got steady again, he then wraps his arms around me to calm me down. He rests his chin on my head and made me feel safe. Tears were still flowing out of my eyes and I was shaking.

Grayson - it's ok Y/n, it's ok.

He ran his fingers through my hair as I cried into his shirt. We slowly walked back to his car, I get into the front seat and Grayson gets into the drivers seat. He starts driving and I look out of the window thinking about how life would of been if dad was still here.

Soon the car stopped, I looked over at Grayson.

Grayson - come on.

I followed him into Walmart, he got cosy blankets, snacks, pillows and me some comfy clothes to wear as pyjamas. I kept telling him to let me pay but he wouldn't let me. We get back into the car and I think about my life, maybe my moms right, maybe I am a bitch. I mean I am worthless, I don't deserve life itself.

Grayson - Y/n?

Y/n - yeah?

Grayson - what are you thinking?

Y/n - about food.

He starts laughing and I get confused.

Grayson - it's funny how you think you can lie to me. What are you really thinking?

He asks getting serious, should I tell him?

Y/n - that I'm worthless and that I should've died. I don't deserve anything or you-

Shit, I just revealed that I liked Grayson.

Grayson - I never want to hear any of that bullshit again, you are not worthless and you are alive for a reason, there's always opportunities in life which you can take, but if you decide that you're not worth it. You could miss out on a life changing opportunity.

I think about his words until we get to his house. I get out of the car and follow Grayson into him and Ethan's house. Grayson lays out the pillows and some blankets on the floor. He grabs the snacks and lays them out neatly. He gave me my comfy clothes and told me to get changed, he told me where the bathroom was and I got into these adidas sweatpants and a champion hoodie. I walked out into the living room and sat on some pillows with Grayson.

Grayson grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around us. He put on Stranger Things 3 and we watched it together. We got into the second episode when Ethan came home.

Grayson - Ethan do you want to watch Stranger Things with us?

Ethan - nah I'm going to go to bed, I had a late night last night.

Grayson - ok goodnight E

Y/n - goodnight Ethan

Ethan - goodnight guys.

Thursday

I wake up lying on Grayson's chest, he was on his phone.

Grayson - good morning Y/n

His raspy voice said.

Y/n - good morning, what's the time?

Grayson - 8:32am

Y/n - what?! We'll never make it to school on time!

Grayson - no, I thought that it'd be best if we had the day off. Just to chill.

Y/n - thanks Gray.

Grayson - oh so I've earned myself a nickname now?
