The sky was a dark, opressing color much so reflecting my mood. The penetrating rain slammed into my window and the wind howled through the shrubbery and trees. Unlike a normal early summer day, today was dreadful.

I felt the same way. My body ached with pain, and coldness. I couldnt put into terms the way yesterday made me feel, but it wasnt like myself thats for sure. It seemed to early; like the sun hasnt yet risen, to go to school.

I slipped on a pair of jet black leggings and an oversized grey and blue penn state sweatshirt. I added gel to my hair, quickly scrunching it and pinning my bangs back with a clip before slipping on my grey uggs and heading for the kitchen.

"Home after school. Got it?" My dad asked coldly, grabbing his briefcase off the counter and straightening his tie.

"Of course father dearest." I responded sending him my most sarcastic grin.

"Oh give the drama queen act a break for once." My dad retorted sighing with frustration. Before i could send back a smart remark, he left the house, pulling his silver sedan out of the driveway.

Michael came to pick me up and i wished i could stay home sick like john.

The day wasnt actually that bad. No one bothered me, no teachers unexpectedly called on me, and i didnt have to face jason. That was, until now.

"Hi ness." Jason said smiling.

"Hey jay." I responded not stopping to talk.

"Whats up?" Jason asked, trying to make small talk.

"Look jay." I began. "You know my dad told me to stay away from you so do me a favor and just leave me alone." I finished turning to walk away when a hand stopped me.

"What if i dont want to leave you alone?" Jason asked smirking and stepping closer so i was pinned against the lockers.

"Then i guess you would have to explain to my much angry, short-tempered father that you decided to disobey him." I replied flirtingly.

"Or it could be our little secret." Jason said quietly intertwining his fingers in mine.

"Im pretty good at keeping secrets." I answered biting my lip.

"Then this should work out pretty nicely." Jason said still smirking.

"Yes it shall." I added returning the smile.

"Pick you up at 8?" Jason asked.

"Make it 10. Easier to sneak out." I replied thinking about how i was going to plan to sneak out with my dad in the living room blocking the exit.
