Hoseok maintained a menacing look on his face as the five of them warily went down a pitch black street, amidst the midnight night void. Hoseok was carrying a sword, already covered with crimson fluid, dripping down the cobblestone street. Followed by the tired faces of Namjoon and Yoongi, whose powers were on the limit of total exhaustion.
Right behind them, hesitantly walking, were Jimin and Jin. They have never encountered so much violence over otherworldly creatures, nevertheless, Yoongi was thoughtful enough to give them enchanted amethyst necklaces, that were glowing with a light, weaker than the stars.
As the moonlight pierced the thick clouds, throwing a shadow over the short houses, they managed to see some fairy light rising on the horizon that gave them hope that they are still are the earth, not in hell.
"Already tired?" Hoseok questioned with a breathy laugh, limping to the next crawling creature that appeared on their way.
"Hoseok, leave it!" Yoongi almost yelled, voice rambling through his chest and spreading through the darkness like a thunder. "We can't carry on, we should draw our attention to the castle. Everyone is too tired, if there is someone here who is trying to destroy-"
"There is Yoongi. Someone who is indeed aiming the earth demons, and if we don't stop it, it might reach our world." Hoseok said pulling his sword out again, pointing it at the creature, which appeared to be like a demonic spirit from the netherworld.
"Whatever is generating them, its no longer alive. They slowly stopped appearing or attacking." Yoongi tried to convince his brother, notwithstanding you cannot move a mountain, and Hoseok possessed that type of persistence and devotion to protecting their world, it bends the line of insanity. As if there is something in this world of madness that keeps him grounded.
The creature moved, but had no intention to come closer. It should smell human blood.
"Jin Hyung, come closer" Jin hesitantly nodded, stumbling upon a rock as Hoseok fiercely grabbed the back of his collar and forced him to kneel down, exposing his fangs and piercing the delicate skin of Jin's neck, making him whine aloud, tears streaming from the corners of his eyes, fresh blood rolling down his collar, mixing with his dry sobs.
"Enough!" Yoongi huskily yelled, pulling Jin back to safety, chest heaving with frustration and disappointment. "Have you lost your mind, he could die?!" He lashed out, and fortunately Namjoon, who had a heavily bleeding cut across his eye down to his chin, managed to keep him tamed in his stronger grip.
It was unanticipated that the creature vanished, as the ground opened and seeped its energy. They all sent into confusion, the sound of rapid breathing filled the air, and for a moment they recognise the place as a street, not as a battlefield, as for Jin and Jimin, who were on the verge of breaking down, they slowly lose their consciousness.
