"Sit still, Noah! Do you want this to look good or not?" I ask as I squirt some more dark brown hair dye into the palm of my glove covered hand.

"Obviously," she says while straightening her posture. Today Noah's pink hair would come to an end. She was changing back to her good ol brown colour, and also giving it a chop up to her shoulders. She had already done that part before we decided to dye her hair, and no, I didn't cut it.

I don't think I would trust myself to give someone a whole new haircut. They'd probably end up looking like the 'do the roar' kid from Shrek.

I rub the dye through her hair and massage it in. We had been doing this for quite some time now, and thankfully this was the last part. "What do you think Daniel's going to say about your hair?" I ask with a slight smirk.

Noah gives me an unimpressed look and rolls her eyes. "As a friend, I think he's going to like it. But then again I think all the boys should, I mean it is my natural colour." She states as I finish up the last of her hair.

"You're done," I smile. "Now leave it in for awhile then wash it out," I explain taking my gloves off and putting them in the bin. Noah was sitting on a bar stool in her living room as she set a timer for her hair. We were the only ones home at the moment. The boys were out doing shit for their show, her parents had gone to work and her brothers were either at work or school.

I watch Noah as she stares out the window in silence with a blank expression stuck to her face. "Noah, are you good?"

She continues to stare out at the window. "Did you know that I got a tattoo?"

I raise an eyebrow as I sit on a couch near her. "You mean the one that we got last year?" She shakes her head and finally looks at me.

"No. I got one recently," Noah explains as she pulls her skirt down on her hip to reveal a small smiley face. Let's just say, it didn't look as if it had been done professionally. She seems to notice the look I was giving it. "Cole did it," she says. Instantly I snap my head up to stare at her. Her face was still stuck in that blank expression. "I was drunk, so it's not like it hurt or anything-"

"Gesh Noah, you're lucky that he only did a small smiley face! Did you even want a tattoo?" I ask.

She shrugs and pulls her skirt back up. "It seemed like a fun idea at the time," she explains causing me to sigh and slouch back into the couch I was sitting on. For a moment it was quiet. But then I had to break the silence.

"Out of all the people in this world, you chose Cole and Arthur... why did you go back to them?"

"To be honest, they were the only people I could go back too. Because let's think about this Kels, you and the boys are the only people that I hang around. You are all my best friends and I didn't feel like I needed anyone else, so when the whole you and Daniel thing happened I didn't know who else to go to."

I could see her point.

"Sometimes I really wish I hadn't gone to them," she says quietly. I raise my eyebrow. "They got me into some bad situations, Kelsey. Drugs, alcohol, sneaking out... fuck, Cole even sexually assaulted me at one point-"

And just like that I was out of my seat. "He what?! What did he do? How many times did this happen? When did this happen? Fuck, when I next see this kid he's in for one hell of a beating-" I shout while pacing around the room, my hands balled into fists at my side.

"Kelsey, calm down girl," Noah says in a calm tone.

I felt responsible for all the shit that Noah had gone through. I mean, it is my fault that she left in the first place, right? When Cole and I dated back in high school, he was very pushy when it came to that kinda stuff. I've been in the same place as Noah when it comes to Cole, and it makes me mad to know that she had to go through it as well.
