Just Let Me In

Meliodas' P.O.V.

I heard them call out the names but was very upset when they called Elizabeth's name. I felt powerless that I couldn't do anything. I couldn't save her from this war.

After heading home and paking we left. I had my cousin Estarossa look after our house, once we left. The next day we left Estarossa some things to do.

Once we got to the school, we saw the sins and were chatting until we got into a bus and left. I sat next to Elizabeth and could tell that something was bothering her.

"Hey are you okay?" I asked her.

"Yeah I'm fine." She said. I could barely hear her. She then put her head on my shoulder, I began to pat her head and it seemed to sooth her. She soon then fell asleep.

A few hours later the bus came to a stopped I started to wake Elizabeth up and told her that we are here.

We stepped out of the bus and we saw tents, people training, watch towers stuff like that.

"ALRIGHT LISTEN UP. OUR WAR IS AGAINST THE ENEMY NATION OF CAMALOT. NOW I KNOW THAT YOU ARE YOUNG BUT, YOU ALL ARE TALENTED SWORD/MAGIC WELDERS. NOW WHEN I CALL YOUR NAME STEP UP." He said. I was hoping that I could be with Elizabeth to protect her.

"Nanashi hamano, dogedo tezuka, Lyra nakajima,and tohka yatogami. You are all to be in the east tents, Sargent Kirigaya will take you there.

"Aqua toyoguchi, Ban Suzuki, Elaine koiwai, King Koiwai, Diane Yūki. You will all be in the noth tents, Sargent Tomoe will lead you the way."

"And lastly Meliodas Kaji, Zeldris Kaji, Gelda Hikari, and Elizabeth Liones. You will all be in the west tents Sargent Yuuki will lead the way. Training will start tomorrow and in a few weeks we will let you on to the battle field." He instructed.

I didn't like this war, I made sure I was near Elizabeth. We went into our tent and got settled in. They gave us the rest of the day to explore the campus and figure out were everything was.

Along the way we met a few people and talked. Although I didn't like the idea of killing but it was now our duty to protect our nation.

After walking around we headed back to our tent and went to sleep. We all woke up to trumpet sounds and went to the dining facility. We ate a quick breakfast and went to change into our gear and grabbed our wepons.

We then went to the training grounds. After training we had lunch then went back to training ate dinner then take a shower and head to sleep. It was the same routine for the next few weeks. It was pretty easy to get use to it tho.

After training we got called up to the front lines. I didn't know how long this war was going to take but I knew that I would protect her all the way.

We got split into teams of two, they paired us up with the person we would work better with. And let us onto the battle field.

This war may have been seen as if it were hard but in reality it was pretty easy. Elizabeth and I defeated wave after wave and so have the other from what they said.

Soon enough they gave us our titles. I was known as 'The Demon King.' I didn't really care that they called me that. Then there were the rest who also received their titles on the battle field.

And lastly Elizabeth was known as Bloodstained Ellie.

As the war continued I noticed that Elizabeth was becoming more and more distant to us.

Elizabeth's P.O.V

I hate this war, I dont even like killing in general. One night I decided to take a small night time flight with the permission of our commander.

I took off into the night sky and stared at the moon. Soon all the feelings I had bottled up for the past few week came out. I was crying frantically.

I started to sing to sooth myself and it helped a lot, but what I didn't know was that someone I cared deeply about followed me.

Elizabeth looked behind her to find Meliodas looking back at her and, she continued to sing.

She knew she was hypnotized

Then it broke, and she awoke again

We both went near each other until they were face to face. Meliodas then grabbed my hand and we started to dance in the air.

We ended the song with Meliodas kissing me under the moonlight. We pulled away and Meliodas asked me why I wasn't acting like myself.

I told him that I dreaded this war and was worried about my family. He pulled me into a hug and started to rub my back. I felt safe in his embrace. I never wanted to let him go.

Yay another chapter done. I will be busy next week and wont be able to update anything for 2 days but I will at least try and update. If I can't I'm sorry about that.🌺
