"Hey Xena." He greets and I just smile at the sound of his voice.
"Hey Namjoon." I say quietly and sigh.
"Are you okay? What's wrong?" He asks and I just stay silent, getting overcome with my thoughts. I bit my lip and I close my eyes as my mind starts to race.
"X." He says a bit louder and I hum.
"Are you okay?"
"I miss you." I say before I could even process what was going on. The line was silent I feel my hands get sweaty.
"I-I'm sorry Namjoon I didn't mean to-"
"Xena I-"
"I'm sorry." I say quickly and I hang up. I toss my phone on the bed and I hide my face in my hands. I get up and I walk out my room, leaving my phone, and I go to Ophelia's room. I knock on her door and after a while she opens it for me.
I walk in the room and lay on her couch and I let out a long groan. I hear her close the door and I feel her sit on the arm rest of the couch. I look over at her and she gives a small sad smile.
"This makes me feel like I'm sixteen all over again. Like I like him but I know I can't be with him." I huff and sit up and she slides next to me.
"I know X. He's talked to me about it too and he literally feel the same way. Look, Jin is about to go off and get military training meaning the boys won't be traveling. I'm not saying use Jin leaving as a way to date Joon but you both can at least talk things out." She says and I fur my brows.
"Jin is what?!" I shout and she nods
"Yeah." Ophelia simply says and I lean back.
"I'm gonna miss having a mother figure like him." I say and she side eyes me.
"We all are going to miss him, but do you get what I'm talking about?" She asks and I nod.
"I was just on the phone with him." I say and she smiles.
"That's great!"
"I hung up on him."
"What?!"
"I got nervous and then I told him that I missed him and then he was quiet and then I kept apologizing and he said something and I hung up." I explain and she just gives me a blank look.
"Okay so wow and when you feel confident again, call him back and apologize and then hear what he has to say, alright?"
"Alright." I say quietly and she nods and pats my thigh.
"Both of you, two young love birds-"
"Please don't." I say and get up and head to the door.
"Next time, just put yourself on mute so you can scold yourself without him know while also listening to what he has to say."
"Will do."
