Ahhh it's been 3 months with him. He's so perfect. How could you have not realized this before.
"Hey baby?" He yells from the kitchen
"Yes?" You say back blushing.. you loved it when he called you that. It never got old.
"Do you want caramel popcorn or just like popcorn? Waitttttt or both?!" He asked
"Um whatever you want is fine.." you reply
"Okay Babe gotcha" he says with this grin that gets to you every time.
He came over and laid beside you on the couch.. your eyes met and suddenly everything felt right. You knew you would never feel this way with anyone else. You questioned if you were in love with him. Surely you were. But do you know for certain? He leans in for a kiss when you get a call. Unknown number. You decline thinking there can't be anything more important than this kiss you are about to receive. When it calls again. You answer.
"Hello?" You say annoyed
"Please hurry! Come to the hospital now!! It's an emergency something happened to Lily! She stopped breathing. Please Y/N hurry!Now!" Andrea sobbed. Yes, the Andrea that Paul cheated on you with. You didn't really wanna listen but lily was your friend so you don't even think about it. You start to panic and scream at Anthony to get the keys. You rush to the car, fumbling over everything.
"omg can I do anything right?!" You say outraged and freaking out.
"Baby everything is gonna be ok just Breath we made it to the car." He says while backing out of the drive way.
You look at him.. 𝗨𝗴𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

You arrive at the hospital and you have heard nothing from Andrea. You call her back and she doesn't answer. 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗺 𝗶 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁. You try to ignore the fact that you have no information. You walk to the front desk .. the lady is wearing blue scrubs, she has curly brown hair, and blue eyes.
"Can I help you?" She says in a calm voice
"Yes um i-" you couldn't speak you were starting to cry. Again.
So Anthony being the best boyfriend ever explains our situation, where we get her room number and rush up there. You wait nervously for the elevator to open.
"I'm scared. What if she's not okay. What if she's-" you stutter as you look at him
"Breath. Whatever happens we will get through it. Now all we can do is hope and pray that she is okay." He said assuringly. He has this way of making you calm.. no one else has ever been able to do that.
You nod. And the elevator doors open with a ding. You look for the room number and knock on the brown door labeled 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 201 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. You reach your hand out to fill your hand with the germX that shoots out of the machine. No one has answered the door yet.
"Maybe we have the wrong room" he says
"No,no she said 201." You say as you knock again. Your patience is not really at its best time right now. You have known lily since you were six years old. She was your bestfriend. She still l is you just didn't see her as much because you had Anthony... you regret that now. You catch Anthony staring at you ... he smiles and grabs your hand.
"It's gonna be ok" he says .. it sounded so sincere.𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗸.
The door opens. You turn anxiously. It's what appears to be the nurse and doctor. They don't look happy. You don't say anything you just walk in and look at lily. Lying there on the bed. Emotionless. You start to cry. Heavy. But silent.
"She's still Alive. Barely. But alive" the doctor says in a low voice.
"Then why aren't you trying to save her now instead of just standing there?" You scream.. a little louder than you should have.
"There's nothing we can do, we have tried everything. The nurse says staring at Lily's body.
You walk over to her and grab her hand.
"Please lily. Please!" You yell. You can't fight back the tears and you begin to sob. Everything is silent. Until reality hits. You hear that long constant loud beep sound. And realize. She's gone. You back up. You can't breath. You hear a scream. Everything goes black.
