Everything was blurry. Not just what you were seeing but your life. Had you really just lost your bestfriend? You stare blankly at the wall while the doctors make sure your okay... guess I fainted in the right place you thought. Everything just feels kind of numb. And you wanted it to be that way. You didn't wanna that pain. That emptiness. That loneliness. That missing piece. Then you realize. Where's Anthony? You start to panic, you start looking around the room. He's no where to be seen.
"Anthony?" You stutter...
"I'm right here baby" he says, you can't tell where it's from but you know it's him.and that's all you need. You needed to hear his voice. You needed his reassurance of hope. You needed his light,his love, the happiness he could give to you like no one else was able to. You just needed him... you calm down. And he steps in front of you and smiles. You smile back. He takes the seat beside you and holds your hand.
"So um, what happened?" You say .. .
"Are you sure you wanna know?" He asked conceded. You really didn't know if you wanted to know.
"No.. but I need to know." You reply
"Ok, so.. lily is alive. But Andrea is not. Lily tried to commit suicide she took an entire bottle of ibuprofen and Andrea went to her house to get something and found her foaming at the mouth. She took her to the hospital and got her in and then the doctors said they didn't think she was going to make it. Before we got there Andrea drove away and drove her car to stoney bridge way. And jumped off. They found her 30 minutes ago. Dead. She thought it was her fault..so she took her life" he said looking at the ground.
You felt a tear drip down your face. You always hated Andrea but.. you never though she deserved to die. You have never wanted someone to die... you cover your mouth and start to sob. He raps his arms around you and tells you everything will be ok.
•••• a few hours later ••••
You get in the car and call your mom. Once you get done telling her what happened she allows you to stay the night with Anthony. It took convincing but you need him right now. And she knew that. You get to his house and sit in the car for a while. You still haven't completely taken it in. How can someone you know just be gone without any warning... their just gone. Like the wind blows them away in one whisk. Gone.
Anthony takes your hang and leads you inside. There are rose petals everywhere and candles lit. It was beautiful.
"Before all this happened I had planned to bring you here and this was gonna be a surprise but I mean .. here you go" he smiled. You can't tell he really hoped you would like it.
"It's perfect Anthony. Thank you" you say and then lean forward to kiss him. You feel as if this is where you belong. Here. Forever. With him.
He points to the couch for you to sit and goes in the kitchen and brings back bowls of your favorite candy..
"How are you so perfect?!" You reach for the bowls with delight.
"You're the perfect one" he replies.
"What was all this for? I mean yeah it's perfect but like just randomly?" You ask
He sits down beside and puts his hand on your thigh. And looks you in the eyes. He leans in and kisses you. Until kissing turns into a little bit more. He grabs your hand and leads you up the stairs. He grips your neck. Switch flipped. *if you don't know what that means then.. maybe your too innocent for this content lol* he pushes you against the bed and begins to take off his shirt. He slowly undresses you. Being so gentle and so light. You saw him for him. He was perfect.
