You hesitantly opened the door to see the person you had been longing for but it wasn't Denki it looked nothing like him. He looked horrible if you were, to be honest, his usual bright golden eyes were dull and lifeless he had dark eye bags and his hair was tousled as if he had ran his hands through it a hundred times. He looked like he had fallen apart multiple times since you had last seen him. Luckily for you, MIna and Kirishima had been keeping you distracted and healthy. it seems like Sero and Bakugou hadn't been as helpful. "I know you probably don't want to see me but I have something really important to tell you" he proclaimed anxiously. You let him in wordlessly.
"Before you tell me what you want to say I was gonna Postmate some (Random fast food) did you want anything" you questioned. The truth was you weren't actually planning on ordering food but he looked like he needed it. "Yeah I'll just have what you're having" he mumbled. You quickly pulled out your phone and ordered the food before setting it down next to you. You waited a couple of seconds in awkward silence before speaking up. "So what did you want to tell me" you mumbled while anxiously twiddling your fingers. "Actually I wanted to sing you something," he mumbled with a small smile before standing up and unstrapping the guitar you just noticed that was strapped to his back. You were nervous and confused many awkward scenarios ran through your head.
"(Y/n) I've been waiting to tell you this for a while so please hear me out. "I love you (Y/n) and I ain't never gonna stop loving you (Y/n)" he sang softly while passionately strumming the guitar.
You almost burst into tears you didn't know how much you wanted to hear those words until you did. It seemed like everything made sense every conflicting feeling you've been having about Denki made sense. You felt different you felt lighter you felt at peace. Then you burst into tears you had been holding them back for days and it felt really good to let them out. On the other hand, Denki was freaking out he thought he saw you smile but then seconds later you had burst into tears but you were still smiling. Denki was sure he had broke you and he didn't know how to fix you. He was about to leave and try to find Mina and Kirishima when you stood up and tackled him in a hug. You put your head in the crook of his neck and mumbled a small 'I love you too' before just enjoying the sweet embrace. After a couple of minutes of peaceful silence, you heard a ding come from your phone.
"Looks like our foods here wanna go downstairs with me to get it," you asked before looking up from your phone to see Denki with a bright red blush on his face. "Sure" he mumbled. So you took his hand and grabbed the keys for your dorm. But before you left you gave him a quick peck on the cheek before quickly dragging a flustered Denki downstairs to get your food.
A/N: Yay! after almost 20 chapters of romantic tension the finally got together. If I'm being honest I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep this story going but it should probably be over in a couple of chapters. Anyways I'm sorry for this chapter coming out late my brain was kinda falling on me because I studied for like 6 hours today because we love a smart queen.
