Athena finally let out her last sob before shoving her face full of Chocolate Sundae Swirl ice cream. Tiaga looked over at her friend and silently laughed, gently eating her last bite. The movie they just watched was Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire.

"Why did Peeta get left behind" She cried. "They were perfect for each other, and how Katniss trusted him!!!"

"You are so funny, Athena" Tiaga laughed. “Its midnight. I got to get going, my aunt is going to kill me."

"Let me walk you home, I was the reason you were late" Athena commented, "I don’t want you getting attacked, I can beat them up." She laughed. Tiaga silently giggled and nodded her head; they headed to the front door and slipped on their shoes.

Athena stopped walking when they reached the front of Tiaga’s home; she turned and waved while leaving her friend at her house. Athena came across her house and walked inside. She didn’t hear anything, so headed up to bed. She passed her parents room and her arguing. A puzzled look leapt onto her face and she slip down the door, pressing her ear to it.

“What do you want me to do, Jess?” Her dad roared. “We only get paid if they are all gone!”

“They’re friends! We can’t ask her to do anything! She wouldn’t!” Her mom fought back.

“She would if I told her too! She’s my daughter, she respects me, and if it means getting my appreciation she would do anything!” Her dad hissed.

“She won’t.” Her mom said sadly “We are going to have to do it.”

“If we do it, then we wouldn’t get paid.” He mumbled. “You heard the boss, ‘if you two lousy adults cant get one stupid child, then your daughter can. I want her to kill her! If you two do it then you don’t get paid nothing’” He quoted.

            “Then what to we do?”

“We will break it to her tomorrow that she has a week to kill her.” He stated

Athena couldn’t wait till tomorrow. She busted in the room “Kill who?” She yells.

“Athena! Darling, what are you doing eavesdropping!” Her mom said in shock.

“Get out.” Her father said coldly “This is none of your business, you had no right to eavesdrop” His dad swung his hand and hit her in the face. Athena fell to the ground and held her cheek. Her eyes turn to slits in anger.

“It is my business, you were talking about me. I am not an idiot.” She hissed. “Now, who do I have to kill? Why are you talking about this? Who did you kill?” She looked up at her mother, who looks so innocent, and her father, he could be a killer.

“Athena, hunny, just go into bed sweetie.” Her mother dropped on her knees and brushed her daughters hair out of her face. Athena flinched away.

“Don’t. Touch. Me.” She growled. “Don’t ever touch me again! I don’t want to see you ever again! I wish I could just die right now.”

“Athena, stop acting ridiculous.” Her father grabbed her arm and dragged her all the way to her room. Throwing her in and locking the door, he turns not looking back and the last thing he hears is his daughter banging on the door, requesting to be freed. She wouldn’t be freed till she agreed. She is going to drop out of school, and continuing the business. Or so he thought.

“Hunny, just until the marrow” Her mother chimed sadly, walking away from the door.

Athena sat in her room, letting tears out of her eyes. She grabbed her duffel bag and started throwing anything she was in. Clothes, blankets, snacks, money anything. “I’m leaving for good.” She slung the bag over her shoulder and headed towards the window. It was locked and she needed a key to get out. She growled, and stalked over to her little TV and hurled it at the window. It broke with ease and she pushed glass out of the way. Grabbing a really big piece for a weapon. She flew out of the window and down the roof and jumped. She landed on her feet and started running away, she didn’t know where she going or where she would end up. Just away from the house she thought was so innocent, and turned out to be full of murders pretending to be good parents.
