Chapter 2: I'm not falling?

I still dont own naruto, and yes i am once again publishing this at 1:30am courtney :P, well i hope anyone that has read my sorry for so far likes it, i have a better idea where im going with this now so yaay, hope you enjoy

Astrid's POV

I laid there with my eyes closed I must have been asleep again, for a minute I thought I'd seen someone and I'd stopped falling, wait lying? how was I lying, I'm supposed to be falling, a strange feeling over come me as I began to notice I was completely still no air was rushing past me my hair wasn't whipping my face.

My eyes shot open quickly taking in my surroundings, the room was white and very bright, underneath me was all soft and sprigged, I jumped a little and bounced lightly a grin spread across my face, that was fun I mused to myself.

Above me lay something else I couldn't remember its name but it was warm and fluffy it felt nice on my skin, a blanket? Yes that sounded right I grabbed it grinning and crunched it close to my nose breathing in deep its smelt clean and fresh.

Something flickered in the corner of my eye turning my head I seen a white curtain blowing in the breeze, I froze for a second when I seen the open window before shooting up out of the bed as fast as I could, ignoring my unstable feet and focusing only on the window I quickly stumbled towards it, reaching it in a matter of steps I slammed my hands down on the window sill knocking something of I faintly heard it shatter on the ground as my shaky legs gave way and I slumped down my arms still prompting me up enough to lean out the window.

My eyes opened wider as i gazed out the window and looked upon the large town. There where buildings and trees everywhere and people filled the streets dotting it with colour. There where so many different sounds reaching me from all around it was hard to keep up where they all came from. my nose filled up with so many wonderful sweet smells some that made my stomach grumble, i would of felt hungry if i wasn't so excited. Finally my eyes settled, once again, on the blue sky I gazed at it and smiled, everything about this place was wonderful.

Naruto POV

Kakashi sensei was talking to old man Hokage down the hallway just out of hearing range I wish I knew what they were saying this sucks, its been a whole day since that girl fell from the sky out of that weird crack that opened up and I've still go no clue what's going on, I haven't even got my ramen yet. At least I get to sit next to Sakura while we wait; I looked towards her grinning only to find her still flirting with Sasuke. I began to glare at him why does she think he's so great anyway he's so annoying and always thinks he's better than me.

We all jumped up as a loud crash was heard through the door across from us even Kakashi and the old man looked startled, I leaped towards the door handle and opened it with Sasuke and Sakura right behind me.

Pushing open the door we found the bed empty and a shattered vase on the floor in the middle of it the girl sat half kneeling out the window with her elbows prompting her up, she had on a white hospital gown and her blue hair flowed down around her blowing slightly in the breeze, she didn't notice us in the slightest, Kakashi pushed past and made his way over to her putting his hand on her shoulder.

Astrid's POV

Feeling a hand on my shoulder I turned around to find the man in the mask with silver hair looking down at me he had a concerned look in his eye. Behind him I could see an older man with a large red and white hat on and a friendly look in his eyes, I shifted my gaze to the door where there stood the blond and blacked haired boys as well as a girl with long pink hair and a red dress on, they all appeared to be wearing similar headbands.

They all stood there staring at me, they must be waiting for me to speak well I guess I should introduce myself... what was my name again? I looked down to think noticing the locket still around my neck I lifted it up to see there was a word written across it, "Astrid" I mumbled reading it out loud to myself, yes that sounded right.

"What was that?" the man in the mask spoke his voice sounded friendly but firm, I looked up to him once again

"That's my name, Astrid" I said smiling reaching forward my hand in greeting

"I'm Kakashi Hatake, let me help you up" he replied to me taking my hand and smiling under his mask.

"Thank you Kakashi, I guess I'm not used to standing yet" I explained a bit embarrassed I guess I did look strange sitting on the floor, once he pulled me up he helped me over to sit on the bed.

The old man came over standing in front of me he spoke in a kind voice that made me want to trust him "I'm Hiruzen Saratobi the Hokage"

"Hokage? I'm not sure I know what that is" I replied confused

"Yes well we will worry about that later, how are you feeling? That was quite a fall you had" he asked me a concerned note in his voice.

"I feel much better now, I'm just so glad to be here" I grinned to him, it was true I couldn't be more happy to be out of that dark abyss and not to be falling although it still feels strange not to be, but I'm still not sure where I am I honestly never imagined surviving my fall so I never really thought about the place where I would be going to. I should probably ask but before I got the words out he spoke again.

"Could you tell us where you came from?"

Where I came from? I repeated the words in my head, where did I come from? I know I must have been somewhere but when I tried to think about before falling my head hurt it almost felt as if there was a wall blocking it off, I reached for my necklace again like it was instinct.

the Hokage must have sensed my uncertainty because he but a hand on my shoulder and spoke in a gentle voice "it's ok if you don't remember now, how about you get some rest we will speak again tomorrow" he then turned away to leave and said in a more serious voice "Kakashi I would like you to come speak with me now" then he walked out the door.

Kakashi moved to follow him out the door but stopped in front of the three who still stood in the doorway whispering something before turning back at me and smile then he disappeared out the door.

I looked interestingly at them as they stood in the doorway the blond haired boy was the first to act, he came bouncing up in front of me with a wide grin across his face he's smile made me want to share a smile back, now that he was closer I noticed three lines on either side of his cheeks almost like whiskers .

I looked into his eyes and they where bright blue similar to the sky and they seemed to shine with as much joy as his smile but I could tell they were also full of mischief and behind them a glimmer of sadness I wonder why?

"My name's Naruto Uzumaki, Believe it" he greeted full of joy and pointing a thumb at himself. I smiled up at him; I could tell he was friendly and going to be fun.

"Naruto, don't scare her" another voice scolded and the pink haired girl walked around to stand next to him

"I'm Sakura Haruno" she spoke to me with a friendly smile on her face she had big emerald eyes that were almost mesmerizing to look at, she looked kind and pretty, I could tell she was slightly concerned for me, I smiled back at her.

"Sasuke Uchiha" a colder voice sounded as the black haired boy came to stand on the other side of Naruto, he was the tallest out of them all and did not seem like he enjoyed being here, I looked up to him, he was noticeably handsome but with his blank expression it was hard to determine what he was thinking, I looked into his eyes, they were very dark and cold, but I was able to see a flash of curiosity in them as he stared back at me.

"Nice to meet you all, I'm Astrid" I replied closing my eyes and smiling up at them all, when I opened my eyes they were all staring at me with a slight shade of pink on their cheeks, I brushed it off though because right now there was something I really wanted to do.

"Can we go out there?" I pointed out through the window looking at them hopefully
