Chapter 3: To the outside world

And yes i also am uploading one chapter strait after the other mostly because it was to long to put in one chapter so i broke it down a bit haha also no i dont own naruto, just incase you thought i did.

Sakura's POV

Astrid looked up at us smiling as she introduced herself I felt my cheeks turn pink and looked to see Naruto and Sasuke were the same, she was just so cute it was hard not to blush.

"Can we go out there?" she asked in a sweet voice snapping me out of the trance, I looked up to find she was pointing out the window, and frowned Kakashi told us to watch over her and the Hokage said she should rest, but she looked so hopeful at us it was going to be hard to say no.

"I don't think that's a good idea" I spoke regretting it immediately while watching her eyes go sad and head drop down.

"Come on Sakura, it will be fine if we stay with her" Naruto pleaded hopefully he looked slightly panicked at seeing her upset.

I looked to Sasuke hoping he would know what to do he was so smart and cool, but when I looked to him his face was set in an uncertain scowl it wasn't much but he almost never showed emotion in any form for anyone, it was as if he wasn't sure how to react to Astrid's saddened, disappointed face. I felt a pang in my heart and frowned, this girl seemed nice but I wasn't going to let her steal Sasuke away from me no matter what.

Looking back to Astrid I was startled to find the girl staring directly at me, her eyes were so big and a radiant violet they looked beautiful and so full of hope. It made me guilty to have thought anything bad of her. I sighed in defeat.

"Ok, but only for a little while" I said still not completely convinced.

"thank you so much" Astrid's voice was teaming with excitement as she shot up and hugged me sending me back a step, her blue hair was soft against my cheek and she felt almost to light as she leaned into me, i looked to Naruto and Sasuke who where just as startled as I was at her sudden gesture.

"but first you will have to get changed" I pulled her away from me she was about 3 inches shorter than Naruto, she still had on the hospital gown.

"You two go wait outside" I ordered glaring at Naruto and Sasuke while I said it and hurried them out the door shutting it on them.

I turned back to Astrid she stood there a little shakily but with a proud look on her face.

"I'm standing" she stated smiling as if she read the question in my head. That's right she told Kakashi she wasn't used to standing I wonder why, I couldn't help but giggle at her she looked as if it was a great accomplishment.

"Well done" I giggled to her proudly " here I brought you a dress while you were still sleeping" I went to the shelf picking up the pale blue dress, I figured she would need something to where when she woke up so I had gone and brought it for her.

Her eyes shone happily at the dress in my hands "it's the same colour as the sky, I love it" she squeaked with a grin on her face.

"That's good I was hoping you'd like it" I answered a little excitedly as I urged her into the bathroom.

"Ok I'm ready" she announced a few moments later opening the door.

I looked up to examined her and gasped slightly the dress was pale blue and held up on her shoulders by two thin straps it was held in at the waist by a darker blue ribbon before flowing down just above her knees, she was very thin underneath it and it looked slightly big for her, I only just noticed how pale and clear her skin was it made her eyes stand out even more and her deep sapphire hair flowed freely down to her waist contrasting nicely with lightness of the dress, she looked very pretty.

Astrid's POV

I put on the dress and loved everything about it what wasn't there to love It was the colour of the sky after all, looking up I found a girl staring back at me it took a moment for me to realize I was staring at my reflection, I watched as the girls eyes dropped down slightly, was that really me? My eyes were so dark and violet and looked so familiar and far away all at the same time. My blue hair flowed down around me tickling my bare skin.

I looked at the chain around my neck and followed it down to the silver locket that hung loosely on my chest I lifted it up I'm not sure why but my heart felt strange when I looked at it.

it was in a heart shape 'Astrid' the letters flowed together nicely and had stars surrounding it I flipped it over to look at the back finding more words inscribed 'Never stop looking to the sky'the words seemed to seep in and sparking somewhere deep inside my heart, curiously my fingers went to open up the locket but I froze feeling like now wasn't the time, I looked back at the girl in the mirror watching a grin spread across her face, I think I will go look at the sky.

"Ok I'm ready" I opened the door.

Sakura stood there for a moment staring at me before speaking, "You look so pretty" she said approvingly taking my hands and smiling at me, something told me we were going to become great friends. I really hopped we would.

"Come on lets go show the others" she stated before dragging me out into the hallway where the two boys waited.

They both turned to look at me standing in front of Sakura, and I watched as a shade of pink sprung to their cheek.

"Well, what do you think?" Sakura encouraged

"Wow you look great Astrid, that dress looks good on you" Naruto spoke grinning at me, making me smile to

"Thank you, Sakura chose it for me" I said looking at her gratefully

I turned to Sasuke hoping for his opinion but he just looked away and mumbled a "hn" I frowned a bit disappointed he didn't like it, but I noticed his eyes glance back at me a bit regretting.

"Don't worry about him, he's just stuck up" Naruto growled glaring at Sasuke "come on lets go outside, maybe we can even get some ramen" he continued more excitedly pulling me down the corridor with him.

I wonder what ramen is I thought as I trailed behind the blonde haired boy.

When we stepped outside of the hospital doors, I ran in front of him a step or two slightly wobbling, I guess I'm still getting the hand of walking, the first things I seen where the buildings they stood up tall and spread out down the road. And there where people everywhere smiling and laughing as they walked by.

I looked up at the sky the sun shone down kissing my face the wind spread around me blowing through my hair I closed my eyes enjoying the feel of it and spun in circles still smiling at the sky I could feel my dress flow around me as I spun and I was just so excited to be here well to be anywhere actually.

well thats that for now i've also half started on the next chapter already but im tired now so i'll finnish it tomorrow comment like follow whatever it is people want to do lol
