another chapter done, i still don't own naruto, but my plans for world domination are going well :P hope you enjoy the story, like, comment, tell me what you think etc etc lol
Sasuke’s POV
I watched the girl as she jumped out in front of Naruto wobbling slightly as if her legs weren’t used to the movement caching herself before falling. Her eyes shone brightly taking in her surroundings, they darted around not staying on one thing for long, she looked up and I followed her gaze to the sky as she began to spin in circles, what was she doing? She seemed oblivious to anyone who stopped to watch her, she had a smile spread across her face and her eyes closed, her deep blue hair followed her as she spun and shone in the sunlight. She had on a pale dress that hung loosely on her small frame. It did look nice on her.
All of a sudden she stopped spinning to face us her deep eyes open wide with wonder and excitement “which way do we go now” she grinned.
The next thing I knew we were slowly heading to Naruto’s favourite ramen stand, typical, Kakashi had told us watching over her was our new mission and that’s the only reason I was still here, I had much better things to do other than babysit.
The short, blue haired girl bobbed from one side of the street to the other jumping over to anything that caught her eye, which unfortunately seemed to be everything, I gowned inwardly to myself, it was going to take all afternoon just to get to the ramen shop.
Naruto and Sakura followed after her, smiling and laughing as they went, trying to explain what different things where and how they worked as best they could while she asked questions a million miles an hour.
That’s what she reminded me of, a child, seeing everything for the first time, trusting everyone strait away and she wore expressions so clear on her face it was almost too easy to tell how she felt or what she thought, and smiling like pain or sorrow didn’t exist. She just seemed so …innocent.
Naruto and Sakura had warmed up to her quickly, that wasn’t unusually for them, but it’s not just them she got along so quickly with everyone, strangers immediately seemed to adore her wanting to share in her wonder.
But something about her was still concerned me, that flash and rift opening up in the sky where had it come from I’d never seen anything like that, it unsettled me.
When Kakashi had caught her, “so that’s what it feels like” “not falling” could this girl really... no it was impossible to think she has never been on solid ground before, then what had she meant by it. She also mentioned not being used to standing that would imply she had before.
I looked up to Astrid narrowing my eyes slightly she had a pinwheel held to her face watching it spin, then the question is where had she come from and why.
Astrid’s POV
“That’s called a pinwheel” Sakura chuckled next to me, as I reached for the colourful wheel
“It spins in the wind, see” Naruto laughed excitedly, he held one up to me and slowly it began to spin going faster and faster making the colours blur together.
