Chapter 5: I wanna be a ninja

i do not own naruto, but you all probably know that already lol

Astrid's POV

I blinked my eyes open and grinned happily to myself as I looked at the familiar white roof; I will never grow tired of waking up to all this brightness. I sat up and stretched out my arms before jumping out of the bed making my way to the window.

I looked out to the village, I wonder if I will get to explore more today. It looked to be early morning still, the sun had only just come up, and I smiled to it happily, I guess that means I’m a morning person.

I looked down to find the rainbow pinwheel sitting on the windowsill, I picked it up and held it out the window a bit, smiling as the wind caught it and twirled the colours around. The longer I watched it the more I felt myself smiling as I recalled the fun I had yesterday.

Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke had taken me out to get ramen, which is really yummy. They had explained how they were all Ninjas and on a squad together with Kakashi, I didn’t understand most of what they talked about but they could perform jutsu’s by using chakra.

(Flash back)

“What’s chakra?” I asked curiously

“Chakra is the elemental life energy ninja’s use in Jutsu, you have to use physical and spiritual energy together and then hand signs are used to focus and unleash the chakra” Sakura explained to me

I looked at her still confused

“Here I’ll show you my shadow clone jutsu” Naruto said excitedly.

I watched him as he concentrated for a moment then moved his hand and shouted “shadow clone jutsu” there was a puff of smoke then standing before me where 4 more Naruto’s.

I looked at them all in shock, how had he done that, the word magic sprung to mind, I ran up to the Naruto’s and poked them all, they were real and all grinning and laughing at me.

“It’s amazing! How did you do it? Can you teach me?” I spoke jumping up and down wanting to learn more.

One of the Naruto’s moved there hand’s followed by another puff and the rest had disappeared, I looked around to see where they had gone not finding any trace of them I focused eagerly on the remanning Naruto.

“Sure I could definitely train you” he said grinning at me.

I jumped again overjoyed at the thought of being able to use chakra and jutsu’s like them.

I put down the pin wheel and looked at my hands, I don’t know any hand signs “focus the chakra” I can do this I smiled happily as I closed my eyes and concentrated, I could almost feel it something inside moving was that chakra? I snapped my eyes open and looked around the room to see if anything had happened, but nothing was there.
