I wake up to the sound of talking, it sounds like two people talking outside the door. I slowly sit up and before I can stand, it sounds like someone was hit. I stagger back and the door opens. A tall slender man walks in and rushes to me and grabs my arm yanking me to my feet. He pulls me along outside the door and through the hallway. Just then I hear someone rushing down the stairs that are to the left of the hallway.

"Turn down that corner, there should be another set of stairs that lead upstairs. After that jump through a window that is to the right of the stairs," he says and points in the direction I am supposed to head

"Tell me your name," I say as I turned around to look back at him. As I turn around my hair flows and falls down on my back and my right shoulder.

"My name is Jackson, Jackson Williams," he says as three men come down the stairs and start running to us. "Now go, I'll hold them back," he says as he turns around to face the men head-on.

"Don't die, and thank you?" I say as I turn around and run for the stairs.

"I don't plan on dying anytime soon," he says as he readies himself to face the men. "We'll meet again," he says as one of the men lungs toward him. I look back as see that he was fighting them. A tear falls down my eye and onto my cheek.

"We will," I say wiping the tears away and run to the stairs.

I run up the stairs, they creak underfoot. I get to the top and make the turn. As I turn someone spots me and starts running to me.

"There she is, she is getting away," one of the men say. I turn to look at him and see that he yelled into the hallway next to him. He and a few others start to run toward my direction. I turn to face the window. I place my hands on the window and pull it open. Once the window is open I jump down.

"She is jumping down," one voice says

"Quick grab her," another voice says

As I jump there were a few trees just outside the window. As I fall branches hit my arms and legs. I use my arms to cover my face as I fall, but I still got some scratches on my face. I landed hard on the ground, my feet hitting hard on the ground. I land on the balls of my feet in a crouching position. I roll on the ground and stand up. My whole body hurt after landing, my legs ached the most since they took most of the impact. I turn to look back at the window and see that someone had their hand out like they tried to grab me and pull me back inside. I guess I fell before they can reach me.

"She jumped sir" someone yells into the building. I get up and start to run for freedom. I stumble to gain my balance.

As I start to stand up someone jumps from the window and lands on the ground behind me. I turn to look who it was and see that it was Noah himself. I start to run I get a head start and hear footsteps behind me and I know that he started to run as well. My legs hurt from the wounds on my legs, I look down and see that they opened up. I don't stop running for the fear of not being able to see my family and friends again.

The sun was gone now and the moon was out. It was hard to see what was on the ground as I ran. The trees were zipping by. I would use my arms to block branches and tall grass away from my face. My feet hitting the cold snow-covered ground. Every now and then there would be patches of ground with no snow. My feet going red and numb as I ran. My hair flowing in all directions as I run. I look behind me and see that more have joined in on the hunt. A few of them had flashlights to help them see in the dark. With the snow, they can follow my footsteps.

I turn around and trip on a log that was hidden under the snow. My hands hit the ground first, I landed in the snow. I lay there in the snow too tired to move. I have to get up. I think to myself, I get up and look forward. I take one step and slip, down a steep hill. I tumble forward and start my descent down the mountain. As I fall my legs start to pound even more. The moon was a full moon, so I can see just not as well. I see a building in the distance of to the left. I start running in that direction, as I run over there I hear snow crunch underfoot but not from me. I look behind me and see that someone was running in my direction.
