Aziraphale sighed quietly as he was with his family.

His father called his siblings and him up for a 'family meeting'
He didn't find it interesting though. It was all about marriage.

Then his mind trailed off to the dark figure he saw earlier. He found it quite odd because he's never seen the figure before. But before his flee, he saw that the figure had a slight dark red color to his hair.

"Aziraphale."

He turned his head to face his father. "Yes, daddy?"

"You know I called this meeting so your siblings and I may talk about your arranged marriage as well, right?"

This made the poor merman frown. "But daddy, I don't want to get married yet.. I'm not even old enough yet!"

"Aziraphale, we must find you a hand to marry. We've got to plan ahead of time so we don't run out of it when you're old enough."

"B-But, daddy-"

"Enough Aziraphale!" his father roared, slamming a fist against the table they were surrounding.

He flinched at the sudden raise of voice from his father. His eyes formed tears and he quickly swam away.
Although you couldn't tell if a person was crying underwater, you can always see it in their expression. And Aziraphale wanted to hide his saddened expression from his family.

He swam off to his favorite place. He had forgotten about the strange figure completely.
His eyes welling up in tears for him to feel because he poked his head out of the water.

He sniffled and whimpered quietly as he sobbed.

"I don't want to.. I'm not ready to give myself up for marriage.." he whispered to himself, sighing shakily right after and wiping away the rest of his tears.

He didn't want to waste his tears for the family he thought he loved. The father that raised him wished he would marry someone by now when he wasn't ready for that commitment.

He just wanted to run away so all his problems can go away. He didn't want to be in the royal family anymore. He just wanted to be free.

Free from his father. Free from his siblings that always made fun of him behind his back because he wasn't like them. Free from the marriage that was going to be forced upon him. Free from the life he was supposed to love, but grew tired of. Free from himself because he wanted to show his family how brave he is.

Then he got an idea.

---

Crowley was walking around in the garden, admiring the beautifully grown ones while hissing at the ones with spots.

He wanted to rip the ones with spots and tear it in front of the other plants so he can show them how much of a disappointment they would be if they didn't grow beautifully.

Although he refrained from it and only threatened the plants that if they didn't grow right, he would come out at night, tear them out of the ground, bury them in a hole and set them on fire so they can perish in the flames of hell.

He sighed quietly and he could've swore he heard the ocean near the garden make a sound.

The castle was well guarded with walls surrounding them of course, but the garden was open for it was surrounded by the ocean.
He still couldn't get how it would make sense because someone could easily just swim or sail over to their garden anytime of any day, but no one would dare because it was the whole aura of the castle that gave off a threatening tone.

Plus, his adoptive parent wasn't always the kindest of people anyone has seen.

He wondered off to where the ocean was and saw nothing.

"Possibly just the tidal waves.." he murmured to himself.

"Master Crowley?"

He flinched slightly at the sudden voice behind him and he turned around to see one of the butlers.

"Oh hello uh.."

"Newton."

"Right yes." He cleared his throat and tilted his head to the side. "What brings you here? Did Beelzebub send you here to get me?"

Newt just shook his head and smiled softly. "No, Lord Beelzebub sent me here to check on you." He replied.

"Right well.. uh.. I'm doing fine..?" Crowley said, no really sure how he was feeling other than awkward.

"Alright then. I'll be sure to tell Lord Beelzebub you're doing alright." Newt then turned and walked off, leaving a relieved Crowley.

Then the prince got an idea to walk around the village. He smiled slightly at the idea but then frowned because he would have to get past the guards.
He just sighed quietly and hurried off to go to his room, setting his crown on his bed and wearing clothes so he could blend in with the crowd, although it was hard.

He just tried and walked out with a cloak on so he wouldn't get recognized easily by the locals.

With that he walked out quickly so he could travel around the village.

Well, that was what Crowley thought.

"Crowley!"

He quickly stopped his movements.

It was Beelzebub.

"Crowley, where are you going?"

"I-I'm not Crowley, I'm only but a servant leaving to get more food, Lord Beelzebub." He replied with a fake voice he just made up.

"Then turn around so I may keep track of my servants."

Crowley just sighed quietly and slowly turned around.

"That is what I thought.." Beelzebub said, raising an eyebrow. "And where are you going?"

"I'm going out." The prince simply said.

"Where's your crown?"

"In my room, on my bed."

"Why aren't you wearing it?"

"Don't feel like it."

"But you must."

"Why is that?"

"Because it symbolizes that you're in royalty."

"But I don't want to symbolize that."

"Why not?"

"Because I wanna be among the people."

"Well, you aren't among the people so go put your crown on."

"I'm not going to put my crown on."

"Yes you are."

"No I'm not!"

Things began getting heated. Well, that's how Crowley felt.

"Anthony J. Crowley, you will put on your crown this instant."

Crowley just growled. "You're not even my real parent so don't even try to control me like you are! You never were and you never will be! So do me a favor and end the arranged marriage because I'm not getting married just because you said so!"

With that, the inflamed prince of Hellsnovia stormed off, pushing past the guards and leaving a shocked Beelzebub.
