Hey so. It's been over a year. I completely forgot about this fic until like- yesterday. I'm trying to remember the plot I had for this story so right now I'm just basically going with whatever was left and winging it.

---

Aziraphale's body was glowing as the creature did their spell to help the prince.

"The spell is complete.." the creature said once the prince's body stopped glowing.

He only nodded and looked at the creature. "What if it doesn't work..?" he asked softly.

The creature just rolled their eyes. "Then come back and I'll preform the spell again."

He just nodded and he swam off quickly, going to his favorite spot in the whole wide ocean.

Aziraphale, the softest, kindest, weakest boy in his family, facing a scary creature and exchanging his hand in order to have human legs.
He couldn't believe it himself, but he had to.

He just felt a rush of emotions and he didn't know if that was good or bad. He just took it as good because he was feeling mostly excited.

When he got to his favorite place, he poked his head out and looked around.

The coast was clear.

He slowly got out and inhaled the fresh air, smiling softly and sitting at the edge of the water.
His eyes widened slightly because he saw that his tail was going away. Legs were appearing and he was smiling brightly at the sight of them.

He slowly got more out of the water and tried to stand. He almost fell as he lost some balance, but he got through and stood up successfully.

He then began to walk, trying to get the hang of it until he heard footsteps coming towards him.

"Who ar- OH!"

The soft boy got startled and he fell again.

He backed away slightly because he was afraid but only saw it was another human. He gulped quietly and he studied the human:

Tall, slightly pale, blue eyes, brown hair, and something in front of his eyes.

"U-Uhm, if I may ask.. why are you erm.. bare..?"

Aziraphale just gulped and stayed silent for a while. "I.. I.. came from.. the.. the ocean.." he replied.

The stranger just tilted his head and looked at the body of water. "I see.."

The soft male looked up at the blue-eyed person and watched as he walked off quickly before coming back with a soft looking square thing?

"Come now, I must cover you up before you go inside. The Lord wouldn't much appreciate it if they were to see you bare." The human smiled softly as he covered Aziraphale's curved body with the soft square and helped him up, making sure to wrap an arm around his waist and walk him into the dark castle.

"Uhm- if I may- where am I?" Aziraphale asked softly, looking over at the taller male. "Oh? I'm sorry I haven't properly introduced myself," the stranger cleared his throat before speaking again. "My name is Newton and I'm the butler working for Lord Beelzebub, the ruler of Hellsnovia." He hummed softly, the blonde merman only nodding in response as he tried processing what had just been said to him. "And if I may.. what's your name?" The stranger added. "I'm!- I'm uh- I'm Aziraphale." The prince answered quickly, not wanting to even mention he was a prince from underneath the water because he was afraid he would be considered mad if he said so. That and he would reveal the underwater castle to a bunch of earth dwellers. "Nice to meet you, Aziraphale." The other just smiled softly, speaking in such a soft tone that it was comforting for the frightened Aziraphale.

Crowley had helped the young woman with her troubles and after doing so, she thanked the prince with a small bow only for him to tell her "it's quite alright, you don't need to do that." But she insisted anyways because he was the prince of Hellsnovia to which he scoffed at but dismissed it quite quickly has he walked off with a small 'you're welcome, miss Anathema Device.'

After their encounter, the prince had ventured into the decent village of their kingdom. What's a kingdom without it's people living in it? Though he did remember the location didn't matter, it's the people that counted for who they are. Their identity is what made it a home. Well- somewhat of a home. He didn't know why but he hated being only known as 'royalty'. He was never fit to be in 'royalty' and his adoptive parent made sure he knew it. The constant reminders that he didn't belong to the royal family was just the beginning when he was first adopted. He never really understood why he was adopted in the first place. He wasn't special at all. Perhaps it was the way his eyes looked? Almost.. feline like.. a snake maybe? He didn't know, all he knew was that his eyes looked weird. Kids would fear him and their parents would pull them away so Beelzebub being Beelzebub made sure they had some sort of covering be made for Crowley.

Other than that, the prince had grown very insecure about his eyes, everything else about himself he didn't mind, his eyes were what he feared. The fear of being rejected because of two feline like, perhaps snake like eyes. That and because he wasn't ready for marriage. He didn't really believe true love only because he never experienced it so why experience it with a complete stranger he was only gonna know for a short period of time before marrying them? He sighed as he walked around, seeing and hearing people selling or making conversation with one another.

That was until he heard people from the castle come into the village which caused him to hide and peek around the corner, hearing the conversation from afar.

"What type of clothing did the lord call for again?" One of them asked, looking at all the options.

"They didn't care as long as the stranger was clothed since they came in bare with only a blanket covering his body. Newton brought him in since the young fellow saw him lost and confused." The second chuckled as he gave money to the seller of the clothing, walking off with the clothes they had just purchased, putting them into satchels then calling for the horses to begin walking as they made their journey back to the castle.

"Beelzebub being generous to a stranger? Unbelievable.." Crowley mumbled to himself as he walked off from his hiding spot, continuing to venture through the village and hoping no one saw him and recognize him as the prince of Hellsnovia.

Beelzebub looked at the stranger in front of them, sitting in their throne with a big crown decorated in such beautiful dark jewelery, sitting on their raven colored hair.

"Where is.. he from again, Newton?" They asked with a small pause.

Newton just gulped softly and looked over at Aziraphale. "Uh-.. where did you say you were from again?" He asked with the same gentle tone.

Aziraphale in return just stared at Beelzebub with wide eyes and sputtering out nonsense, only telling them his name. So after a long minute of getting nothing from the blonde, Beelzebub just huffed softly and dismissed it, ordering for people to get the sputtering male some clothes since they knew the clothes they had weren't gonna fit him then ordered Newton to get him into a room.

Then they started to wonder why they were being so nice especially to Aziraphale. Though they dismissed the thoughts and only went onto important meetings, reading or writing back to other kingdoms with any concerns or just dealing with the kingdom in general like they always do.
