"Graham?" It felt like my voice betrayed me.

He looked up at me starting with a glare but when our eyes connected you would've thought he was a deer in headlights. Well, granted he was.

"Vi? Oh hey?" He pushed the broad off of him and she scoffed mumbling about him being an asshole. He began walking down the steps to me and I took the same amount of steps back.

I only shook my head and continued my path to the exit. I heard him calling after me and that only motivated my feet to move faster.

The outside air hit me hard and I felt myself gasping. As if I hadn't been breathing for hours. Behind me I heard pants coming from Graham. "Vida, I am so sorry."

I shook my head and chuckled, "Don't be, Honestly. We weren't together so you owed me absolutely nothing. You owed me no loyalty no commitment nothing. But I thought what you helped me with..." my tears were choking me from even speaking. By then I was facing him and his eyes seemed to be glossy. "Graham, you owe me nothing but I wanted to give you everything. But it's irrelevant go back to what you were doing and I can pretend I never met you or this ever happened. Deal? You were just a one night fuck. Glad we settled it."

His once glasses eyes turned bitter, "You know what Vida. You're right we were nothing but a fuck. So go back to your crazy ass step mom. Don't end up on drugs again. Be a shame if you died this overdose."

I only stared at him. After years of dealing with Charlotte the words didn't do anything. "You did your research huh?"

He chuckled, "Yeah I did. Turns out you were hidden from the public eyes for so long because of a rape case. After you lost the case you drugged yourself up and overdosed. Of course daddy was able to pull you out of it though right?"

He kept on talking and rambling and before I knew it my palm was flat against his cheek. I hit him with enough force that he went stumbling backwards clutching his face. "I bet your research didn't tell you I took self defense classes from age 8 up until 21." I took off my heels leaving my bare feet against dirty alley ground and nothing in me cared. He built up enough anger in myself and I was ready to kick ass.

Before he could comprehend what I said my foot went straight into his throat. He buckled and fell to his knees clutching his throat. Once again gasping for air and it felt good that I was the reason. I began throwing multiple punches to his jaw and face. So much fury was going into my releases that I didn't feel Taryn grab me and throw me into her car. I trashed in the seat and kicking like a child. She did nothing but ignore me and drive away leaving Graham like the road kill he was.

The ride was silent and tense. Taryn I bet wanted to get a few hits in just because she saw me going at it but knew she had to be the adult in the situation. For once in our lives. I didn't stop thinking until she broke the silence. "I'm not going to ask."

"I won't tell." I looked at her, even with her eyes on the road they showed amusement. "Where's Olivia?"

"She's home Vida. Her home."

"No, no, you know she shouldn't be there with Charlotte."

"Good thing she's not. She's with Jenson. Their grandparents got them from what he said. You're not the parental let them breathe."

As much as I wanted to sock her in her jaw she was right. I'm not their mother. I'm barely seen as their sibling. When my father died I had to bring my birth certificate just to be acknowledged with them.

Arriving at my house I recognized the black cars outside. "Secret Service is here Tar."

She parked on the curb, "What? Why?"

"I would like to know why as well." Walking up to my door is was opened for me.

"Miss.Sanders, your safety has been compromised."

Unknown POV

"Sir, I have information on the Subject." The man slid the packet to his boss who stopped it with one finger. "Vida Sanders, 22 years of age, currently living in Washington D.C"

"So, the girl never left huh. Such a completely utter idiot. Last time we spoke I told her she should run. They never listen." The boss stroke his beard as a broad came and sat on his lap.

"Daddy, I can make it better for you. You look very stressed." She began to kiss up his neck running her hands through his thick hair.

"Mari, not now. Don't you see daddy is busy." His voice was filled with annoyance but he didn't need to say any more for her to leave him alone.

"Skipper, what eyes do we have on her?"

"Agent James recently came in contact with her. Hopefully he can keep up."

The boss only nodded his head. "Good." was all he replied.

"But sir there is a problem."

Once again he became irritated and picked up the loaded gun and cocked it. "What May that be Skip."

Skipper gulped. The boss was a man known for not being secretive of his movements. He thrives off the fear of his employees and his victims. "There's a child living with her now from what we assume. We think it's the President Sanders youngest child."

The boss hummed. "I don't understand what the problem is Skip." He waved the gun in the air.

"What is the child interferes?"

He stood up and walked from behind the desk. Pointing the gun in between his eyes he only said two words. Two haunting words. "Kill her."

Skipper nodded and ran out the room in fear. Praying that somehow nobody would be hurt
