"Ivy, here."
"Ivy? I like that. Sexy. Intriguing."
"Oh my God. Who is this? Do I know you?"
"Yes. You do. I'm a little hurt that you don't remember me."
"Should I?"
"Uh, is that a question? Yeah, you should. You should remember me from my charming voice and my intelligent wit and from the way I called you crazy."
"YOU? Why are you calling me?"
"I wanted to ask why you don't like the band."
"What band?"
"What band? Only one of the greatest bands of all time. Desperate Parallel's. Remember them? You, who lost tickets to their once-in-a-lifetime concert next month?"
"Ah, yes. That band. The band that cost me $300 in order to make my sisters birthday a good one. I don't like them because they simply don't play the type of music I like."
"What type of music do you like?"
"I like...soft music. Indie rhythms and meaningful words, y'know? Not the rock n roll, screaming, strum the guitar as hard you can kind of stuff.
"Hm, I see. Thank you."
"For what?"
"Giving me an insight into your mind."
"Uh...you're welcome?"
"I'll call you again soon."
"Please don't."
