(The next day, Morning)

After moving my stuff into Sheriff's department, inside it looked absolulty amazing. It looked like a normal style art of Japanese but also having a mix of a cabin home. Artsy but both comfy, as it had an amazing view over the village and a great view for star gazing. If only I had this house instead of living under Snugglemane castle

Before thinking more, one of the sky pirates known as Ramaraffe, Boss Hosstrich, Ratarang and their leader. Orangusnake. Comimg to intrude the Sheriff's Department, giving us a warm up for the day

Fighting who and who, Mao Mao was fighting Orangusnake while Badgerclops shooting at Hosstrich who was running away from him. More or less, terrified of him

I was fighting between Ramaraffe and Ratarang

Ramaraffe stretching out her robotic limbs to punch me as Ratarang tried to sneak behind me but always failed at it. Moving left and right, up and down. Side to side, blocking Ramaraffe attacks kicking Ratarang out of my way. I mean, he was no big problem for me but annoying to deal with in combat

"Guaaarrgghh!!! Hold still!!" Ramaraffe yelled out in anger trying to punch me but ever time I dodge every attack of hers

"Hmp! You gotta try harder than that feli--AH!!" Feeling Ratarang trip me, making me fall on my back. About to get up, out of rush, standing up wrong. My ankle started all over again

Mao Mao turning his gaze to me, his green eyes widen seeing Ramarffe having the upper hand

Groaning in pain, Ramaraffe about to blast me, Mao Mao kicking her shin as she fallen back, crushing Ratarang above him

"Kikio! Are you alright?" He ask

"Y-yeah, I'm fine--"

"You could gotten seriously hurt! And your ankle! It's--!!" Orangusnake about to slash Mao Mao, Mao blocked his attack as Orang cackled put loud

"How very sweet! Protecting your girlfriend won't help you here!!" He yelled before Mao Mao cheeks flushed furiously pushing him far away yelling as his teeth showing

"She's not my girlfriend!!!! Guuraaarrghh!!!" He then started attacking Orang with more fearce and fire while yelling

'He should really lay down the yelling..'

"Kikio!! Guys!! I'm here!!" Hearing Adorabat yell behind me as she flew passing by Badgerclops blasts and Mao Mao wrath

"Adorabat! Careful!!" I yell before she threw smoke bombs

"Don't worry Kikio! I got this!!!" Is all she yelled before throwing more smoke bombs while yelling smoke bombs

Getting myself up, trying not to step more of my sore ankle. Befote she flew up at the sky saying something before Ramaraffe was chasing her around in circles before Adorabat flew behind Orangusnake as the robotic garraffe crashed onto her boss

Until further more, the whole group of sky pirates started arguing and fighting eachother. That's an...unusual?

We all stand next to eachother seeing the chaos the sky pirates were creating themselves

"They....beating themselves up?" Adorabat ask before she flew into my arms

"I....guess?" I respond back to Adorabats question

"..Wow..."

"Yeah...hey, let's attack them all since their all distracted" Mao Mao suggested to Badgerclops before he pointed his canon to them, blasting them off as they muffled/yell 'we're okay!'

"Yeah, we didn't ask.." Badgerclops said while giggling by how easy they defeated them, feeling an intense stare staring at me. Looking over to my left, Mao Mao glared at me, crossing his arms

Smiling nervously yet sweating, bravely I ask

"...yes--"

"You could of almost gotten really hurt!!" He yelled before Badgerclops hold his shoulders while Adorabat flew behind me

"Woah. Dude, chill. She was trying to help.." Badgerclops said

Mao Mao eyes were staring daggers at me before his eyes soften up. Realizing how loud his voice was high, making my tail spike up

"I-i mean...im sorry, but, Kikio you're guard was down and, it worried me that you were down. Please let your ankle rest, come on" he said walking towards me, before about to carry me, I push him away

"E-eh, I'm fine really! Look try to worry less and you'll see I'll be running around you guys in circle!" I say happily as Mao Mao eyes were filled with worry before Bagserclops laughed

"You sure will, we did pretty good today huh?" He says as I walk next to him

"For A morning warm up huh?" I say before Mao Mao shook off the feeling and walked along side us

Turning back seeing Adorabat still there, I yell for her name letting the guys go back inside waiting for her

"Adorabat! Aren't you coming?" I ask, waiting for her before she flew to me. As she explained and let out what she was feeling. Nodding, understanding her struggle of not being big or strong, or skilled or fast. We both finally make it back inside Sheriff's department, sliding the doors open

"--I understand what you mean but, if you wish to join in combat you have to practice. Let alone, try hand to hand combat and you'll see how much you improved--"

"Uuraaaghhh, you alllwayyss say that! Practicing is only a waste of time for me if it won't work!" She says flying towards the couch were Mao Mao and Badgerclops sat on

Sighing, shaking off as I smile at them all

"I'm gonna head out, I'll do the rounds for today. You guys stay here and I'll bring some grocery" I say as Badgerclops saved goodbye same for Adorabat as she waved goodbye as Well

Mao Mao stood up walking to me

"Will you fine? You're ankle is still hurt.." he says, mentally rolling my eyes, smiling ever so wide and nodded

"For sure! I know I'll be fine, you're talking to a fighter here, again for the last 5th time. I will be okay, don't worry" i say about to close the door, Mao Mao hand stopped it, shocked by his action

"Promise you'll come back here safely, okay?" All he ask

Glaring at him, nodding

"I'm. Fine. Best believe I can manage on my own and wound my own injuries" I say before sliding the door shut closed. Sighing while shaking my head, I start to walk down hill and head into town

Ever since me and Mao Mao talked since yesterday, he's been more....caring but..his care was slowly yet turning into controlling

Maybe controlling is a strong word.

More like...someone spoon feeding me. Giving me the easy way, making me feel...as if I can't do anything for myself. I just hope...this dosent go for long...yet, I'm not saying anything about it. Giving him so many hints yet he dosent catch on...

I just wish this dosent need to go long..
