So, I had to write this for my English class last year and I thought, "Hmmm maybe I should but this on Wattpad," so here we are. I'm sorry if I'm not entirely educated on the things I mention in the story, but I really didn't have much time to write it. Also sorry if it seems to advance quickly but it was supposed to be a two page short story and I really had to cram ideas together. I got a good mark though so like time well spent.
If I had the opportunity or the skill required to make this a novel, I'd probably draw everything out and toss in a lot of gay undertones between François and Félix. It would also dwell on the psychology between falling in love with your rival, as well as some of the difficulties of being gay French nobility. But hey, the story's alright for a school assignment that I planned and wrote in 5 days, whilst juggling other work.
It's an experience so have fun.
