Back with a messy update, sorwy!
I feel like it's going pretty damn slow.
I'm not great at writing fast pace stories.
I like building up the plot, so I hope you guys can bear with me!
Also, the few people that are reading this, can you tell me if you like the length of chapters in the recent updates, or do you guys want it to be longer?

Back at the coffee shop, after Minho and Hyunjin left, it was about time for Jeongin's shift to end. Jeongin works from midnight till 5AM because the coffee shop closes for two hours, opening back up at 7AM for the morning rush.

Jeongin had a love-hate relationship for when has shift ended. He loves the walks back to his apartment and filling his room with coffee scents from his clothes. He hates how he wasn't able to see Chan after his shift ended.

Jeongin saw the time and realized that it was time for him to leave, leaving the beautiful boy behind.

Chan usually leaves before Jeongin's shift ended, but tonight it was different, though it's been different for the past week. Chan came in later than usual meaning he stayed later than usual too, but for all of the right and wrong reasons.

Jeongin took a long stare at Chan before he begins to brew up one more cup of Chan's order into a paper cup and wrote a message on the cup.

"Don't work too late; take a break and sleep <3"

He'll probably think I'm a creep.

Jeongin scratched out the heart and replaced it with a smiley face instead. Jeongin's face was burning up, all kinds of red were showing.

"Don't work too late, take a break and sleep : )"

Jeongin went to the locker room and changed into a pink sweater and jeans. He came back out and went behind the counter again. Woojin handed him a slice of the new recipe cake that he worked on all morning/night. He punched his card and waved goodbye to Felix who was still on the couch. Felix came in later for his shift, so he works during the morning rush. Usually, he just sits (sleeps) at the coffee shop, before it opens again. Felix gave a big wave goodbye to Jeongin.

Jeongin picked up the coffee made specially for Chan and braced for his handsome face. Jeongin walked slowly over to Chan's table, but this time, not behind up, in front of him, so no tapping on the shoulders.
He waited for Chan to notice him since he didn't want to disrupt him.

Chan looked up from his laptop since he saw a shadow hovering over his laptop. He saw the cute employee standing in front of him.

"Uh-h-h, h-her-re," Jeongin stuttered, not able to allow words to form since Chan was staring deeply into his eyes, leaving him flustered.

Jeongin quickly placed the drink on the table and paced out of the coffee shop without looking back or hearing Chan's reply.

Chan watched the boy quickly run away from him and murmured cute while smiling to himself. He grabbed the coffee and read the message on it. He chuckled to himself and lovingly rubbed the message with his thumb. He noticed the black scratched out marking after sleep which he could make out to it being a heart. Chan's smile became wider, forgetting about the deadline he had in front of him.

Why do you have to be so shy?
And why do I have to be so scared?

Chan thoughts were interrupted when Woojin told him that the shop was about to close soon and apologized. Chan hurriedly packed his things up. Woojin gave Chan also a slice of the new cake he baked with an extra something in the bag.

Chan made his way to the door, holding the warm coffee tightly in his hand like his life depended on it. The rain finally stopped, leaving the sky clear files with stars, and the streets humid and wet, but nothing could damped Chan's emotions after seeing Jeongin.
