I sat back and waited as Gerard flicked through the camera. He looked very closely at each picture, I could tell by the way it took him quiet a while to click the button to change the picture with a small 'bleep' sounding from the camera. I watched his every expression as he flicked through the camera, some photos he smiled at. I'm guessing the very strange selfie of me and Josh had just passed as he giggled slightly before moving on. I had some very serious photos and some very stupid photos. Most of which involved Josh. That says a lot about him really. Centre of attention, poser, gay and of course, absolute fabulousness. He is so funny, a great friend. He always knows how to cheer me up when I'm a bit down.

"Wow. This picture is awesome, E." He said with his eyebrows raised high for extra effect.

There he goes again with the nickname. The only person who knew it was Josh. I suspect Josh has been talking to Gerard without me knowing. In a good or a bad way, I don't know. I hope it was good.

He lifted his eyes from the screen and looked up at me with his shining hazel eyes. I melted right there. I'm like a puddle on the floor right now completed with a set of eyeballs rolling free.

"Which one is it?" I asked shyly scratching up my arm, which is a nervous habit.

"The one of the lightening bolt hitting the tree in a park. It's amazing. All the different colours. How does it do that?" He asked amazed with the photo.

"Well the lightening bolt struck the tree for over 3seconds causing some of the tree to turn different colours with the excess heat and energy. The gasses inside the tree also is what caused the tree to turn that colour. It was beautiful but yet I was scared stiff. It happened so quick, yet slow enough for me to get a picture." I said and laughed at the end.

Gerard laughed a bit too, realising how much of a complete science and photographic nerd I am. I sound like a right dork don't i? Don't even bother answering that we all know the answer is a straight forward "yes!".

"It's amazing. So you like science much?" He asked making conversation while flicking through the photos once more.

"Yeah, always loved science. Physics is the best. I love all of the out of spacey stuff. I got straight A/A*'s in my exams. I was always the geeky freaky kid. Glasses, braces and comic book themed bag. Bullied, swirled, beaten up and constantly teased." I trailed on letting out more than was probably meant to and more than I expected myself to say.

"Oh. Same thing happened to me except I never stuck around to do my exams. I skived. A lot. Got into fights, well I was the one being beaten up and shoved into lockers. Never really paid any attention in class, never did homework. I was the so called "emo fag" yet I'm not gay. Not even bi. Totally straight, until I'm drunk anyways. Frank seems like a great kisser when I'm drunk. It's all for fun though, nothing really serious." He explained.

"Well... Okay." I laughed out awkwardly.

"Yeah, quiet strange isn't it. Maybes I should just stop talking about that." He said laughing along with me.

"Yeah, maybes." I said back.

"So, have you found that special person yet?" Gerard ask raising an eyebrow at me.

"Me? Hahaha no. I mean, who would want to go out with this. I mean I would probably be all clumsy and spit coffee at them on our first date." I said laughing.

Then it hit me.

What I had just said made this seem like a date. Actually the more I think about it, the more it looks like a date. I mean he wants to know stuff about me. Eloise, not some photographer. About my childhood, so he can get an idea of what I was like when I was younger. He smiles and laughs along with me a lot. Also there is that fact that he had somehow found out my nickname. And my number. Both of which only Josh knew. I need to have a word with Josh. I mean seriously. This isn't funny anymore. Plus Gerard was being all secretive about how his brother was 'just leaving now' and how all the other guys are busy recording today. They probably aren't even recording. Mikey is still probably sitting at the coffee table dreaming about him and Josh riding into the sunset on unicorns together.

"This isn't a date is it?" I asked out of curiosity, hardly even knowing that the words had left my mouth.

"Yes...no... I don't know... If you want it to be it can but... You probably wouldn't want that. God damn it. Why am I confusing things. Truth is, I seriously don't know." Gerard sighed confused.

His hands placed my camera back on the table carefully and he started to inspect his hands and fingers awkwardly deciding whether or not it was. He looked so frustrated, confused and yet at the same time sad and rejected.

"Well I don't mind either one." I said reassuringly.

But seriously, I wouldn't mind either one because it would be awesome to have a date with Gerard. Also I could understand if he wanted this to be a casual 'get to know each other before we work together' type of thing.

"What?" He asked stunned. "Really?" He asked a little more calmer.

I just simply nodded afford a reply and set down my empty coffee mug. I was starting to get used to the taste now. It wasn't that bad when it isn't scolding hot.

"Sure why not?" I added to my reply. "You seem like a great guy. Better than that really... So, yeah. I mean if it's fine with you?"

"Thanks, yeah I'm totally fine with that. You don't seem so bad yourself E." He smiled up at me.

"Thanks, Gee." I smiled back.

"Anytime." He winked at me.

And now I'm the colour of a tomato. Great. Just fucking awesome.
