Phryne Elizabeth Carter or Phryne is a nurse in Emerson's Boston Hospitals she is shy and timid but once you get to know her she is as sweet as a lemon pie. She is not married and people say she is not even looking for a man, maybe she is looking for a different preference, she has even gone to court for this matter but was declared not guilty. She escaped herr family when she was 18 because she was abused by her father. Now she lives as an independent woman with a hard life.
