Frederick Lee or Fred was abandoned by his family, his father was an alcoholic that died in 1915, his mother never liked him and his sisters, Eunice and Margaret went to live in Oaklahoma. He later married Marie Sarcelle a french woman who died in the war, and when he returned from service he moved to Boston. He worked as a lawyer until his company went down and he had to start working as a farmer.
