Sweet Dreams are Made of Screams Part 3

Trouble, trouble, I've had it all my days

Katherine McMillan was singing the chorus of " Down Hearted Blues" 

The band played the songs gorgeously and surprisingly, in the clarinet Phryne fisher was hijacking the song completely, the band received standing ovations in the new jazz club: "Blue Charleston" . Then the band started playing an instrumental song while their lead singer was going for a martini. But then, a waitress with glasses dropped the tray with glasses while Katherine felt something in her head, it was a man with a gun, aiming right at her brains. Then, Phryne came from behind and knocked him off hitting him with her clarinet and killing him. Then everyone began to chase them as they got out of the club. Then police en and police cars were surrounding them and they took both of them away.

Then, they put a bag on their heads. They woke up, and they were in the Dealey Plaza of Dallas Texas they had a rope around each of their necks

Whatever happens, do not scream!-Said Phryne

okay.

Then the were left hanging for 10 painful seconds full of chocking sounds, but then, the ropes started to break, until they made the women fall down on the ground, it was their time to escape. They ran far away, but the crowd kept up, they got to a dead-end street, but the woman made sings so that they entered the house, and so they did, inside, the woman was performing a satanic ritual with her daughters, her husband and the two "surprise guests"  were the sacrifice. There was a knife near Katherine, and she threw it off to the mom, who died in the impact.

oh my god, now I am a killer- said, Katherine

No, you are not, that was self defense-Said Phryne- We would have died if you did not nail the knife in her chest. 

There is a basement, we should go there.-Said Phryne

They went down the stairs and found a wet and dirty basement it had fungus and probably a rat or two, still, it was their only choice, then someone locked the door behind both of the ladies, then, the sound of spilled liquid in the other side of the door became evident, and then, trough the gap between the door and the floor, a dark greasy liquid came in, followed by fire, it was oil, someone was burning the house with them inside, but there was  another girl inside, but she was not good either, she chained one leg of each woman to the wall with a chain, the fire was consuming the stairs rapidly, and there was a hose in the basement, but as they were opening it, the pipeline broke and an uncontrollable amount of water was beginning to flood the basement, and if they did not figure something out soon, they would drown.

The little girl left the key in the floor, we just have to reach it and open the chains.

Katherine went underwater and saw the key, she was swimming towards it, but something stopped her, the chains wouldn't let her advance any further, but she had an idea, moving her hands towards her would create a current that would drag the key towards her, she tried but it gave no result, then she went back up to the surface, which was leaving them behind.

Give me your hat pin- said Katherine

okay- Phryne answered.

then Katherine took her hat pin too and with both of them started to try and open the keyhole, and it worked! Then she swam to Phryne and did the same, there was a window in the basement and they escaped trough there, just in time.
