Chapter 4: All Might?

"Get back everyone!" All Might held up an arm in front of his students. "What the?! I thought his quirk was shock absorption!" The skin and muscle bubbled and grew where Nomu tore his body apart, and a new limb sprung out in its place.

"I don't remember saying that's all he can do." If he didn't have a hand covering his face, Reiki was sure that Shigaraki was smirking right now. "This is hyper-regeneration." Nomu charged at Bakugou at full health. "Nomu is a super powered living sandbag designed to withstand everything you've got."

He's fast! All Might leaped towards Nomu to try and stop him, but knew he wouldn't get to the villain in time so he changed direction. The two moved so fast, no one could see what was happening in that split second.

"Kacchan!" Midoriya called out in worry of his friend who then appeared right behind him. "Kacchan?! You dodged that? Wow!"

"I didn't. Shut up, you." Bakugou's eyes showed he was struck with shock, and wasn't sure what had happened himself.

"This guy doesn't know how to hold back." All Might stood where Bakugou was with his forearms scratched and bruised.

Shigaraki stood wide eyed at the scene. He took the hit for the kid. "Anything to save a comrade, right? Just like earlier when, uh. . . that one," he pointed at Midoriya, "the plain one. He came at me with everything he had. But violence in the name of saving others is admirable? Isn't it, hero? You know what, All Might? That pisses me off! Heroes and villains both thrive on violence, but we're still categorized. "You're good." "You're evil." That's how it is! Symbol of peace? Hah!! In the end you're just a tool for violence, made to keep us down! And violence only breeds more violence. I'll show the world that by killing you!"

"What a load of hooey." All Might responded, "Idealistic criminals have a different sort of fire in their eyes. But you're just enjoying yourself, you big liar." Shigaraki sneered at being called out in his false sense of conviction and confessed.

"You got me. Saw right through. . ."

"It's three on five." Todoroki analyzed.

"But Kacchan showed us the mist man's weak point!!" Midoriya pointed out.

"These are some brutal dudes, but with us supporting All Might. . . we can beat 'em back!" Kirishima pumped himself up for the fight.

"No!!" All Might shouted, "Get out of here!"

"Things wouldn't have gone so well if I hadn't just stepped in." Shoto countered.

"All Might, you're bleeding and I think your time's u- ah." Midoriya stopped himself in mid sentence.

"Right you are Todoroki!! So thanks for that!!" All Might clenched his fist. "But fear not!! Sit and watch a pro get serious!!"

"Asui," Reiki put a hand on the frog girl's shoulder, "let me be on standby, just in case. I'll be alright. The other students are there to cover me."

"Sasato, All Might is here now. Everyone will be ok." Asui tried to convince her otherwise, but her words fell on deaf ears as Reiki gathered her strength and moved to stand behind the other students.

"Nomu. Kurogiri. Take him. I'll handle the kids." Shigaraki charged at the group of students. "Let's clear the game and go home!"

"He's coming. Get ready guys!!" Kirishima shouted and hardened his arms. Reiki braced herself to move at a moments notice and spread out her arms, ready to heal the damage Shigaraki would deal out. Before the villain leader could reach them, a loud slam sent a shockwave through the area, blowing everyone back. All Might punched Nomu's fist with everything he had.
