Archie

I woke up with a thin sheet over me, the morning sun in my eyes, and my husband bare body on top of me. I smiled, he nuzzled my face into my bare chest, I then placed my hand in his hair began playing with his soft jet black hair in my hands.

"Good morning husband" he whispered, I kissed the top of his head of hair, "morning baby" I slurred the yawned. He giggled, he then sat his arms on my chest criss-cross, he then looked outside at the beautiful view of Paris, "well how about we go get black and white striped shirts, buy berray's and get macaroons for breakfast, how about that for a total Paris experience." I nodded, "what a wonderful idea," I said in a French accent to make it a little extra.

Jughead began to laugh so hard that he almost fell off the bed crying at my little joke. I then began to tickle his sides causing him more laughter, "Archie stop!" he laughed, it was so amazing seeing him laugh like this, so happy. He gasped for air as he laughed so hard, "Archie stop, stop" he laughed.

I did, his curly hair was in his face and he was giggling none stop, a moment like this I cherish seeing him so happy. I moved his hair from his forehead, he stared up at me in awe, he then smiled, causing me to smile of course. I kissed him gently, he pulled me by the back of the neck, "Jug comes on we need to get dressed as much as I would love and do this all day we're only in Paris for two weeks."

Jughead got up and the sheets dropped, I couldn't help but stare at him, he looked over at me and smiled, "what? You like what you see now do you? " I laughed as I began to get dressed, "of course I do" Jughead smiled, "okay you ready?" he asked excitedly, I nodded "ready as I'll ever be."

We exited the main lobby and walked into the streets of Paris, Jughead looked like a little kid at Disney World. I looked over at him laughing to myself, "so what should we do first Juggie?" he grabbed my arm and turned me to the left, "this way!" he said almost jumping up and down, he then began to drag me as he ran through the sidewalks, we came to a big halt when he saw berrays, he ran inside and came back in probably less than a minute with two, he placed one on my head and the other on his head.

He wore it very well, he smiled at me and moved my hair from my face, "it looks good on you" I smiled, "it looks good on you too" he smiled, he then took my hand and we walked down a few streets until we found a nice place to stop for breakfast.

We ordered French toast and eggs, then we ordered snails. When the snails came we both looked at each other wide-eyed, he picked up a for and took a small bit, I did as well, he started to giggle, "okay on the count of three" "one" I nervously said, "two" he giggled, "three."

We put the fork full of snail in our mouths, Jughead spits it out onto his plate, I gaged and put it into my napkin. We couldn't help but laugh our asses off each other's reactions. Causing a few funny looks from people in the store, normally Jughead would be embarrassed, I'm glad he is starting not to care what people think of him anymore, he used to be so self conscious even if somebody glanced his way.

But I am proud of him for being his real self now in public. Even if that means getting a few stares at people. Then we paid the bill then carried on exploring.

Then I saw it, oh no, a mime. Jughead ran up to it and began to the creepy walk it does. I, of course, videotaped the whole thing. When it placed a hand up Jughead would pretending that there was an imaginary wall. I rolled my eyes, "Jughead there's no wall" I laughed, big mistake. It decided to come near me, "okay Jug let's go" I laughed.

I quickly, of course, sent this to Betty and Veronica who found it hilarious. After all that I still don't get how he has the energy of a seven-year-old. Then we went to a beautiful restaurant for dinner, talking about all the fun things we are going to do while we are here.

Day One in Paris, complete, we'll almost, my favorite part was when we sat in bed and I got to cuddle my beautiful husband as we watched a movie together, with light music of the outside of Paris filling our ears when we fell asleep.
