If ever we are to meet again

Maybe we'd meet again,
Maybe we won't;
Maybe we'd be at the same place at the same time; then pass right by and never knew,
Maybe we'd see the glimpse of our faces in the crowded streets of Japan.
Or see each other in the soul of a stranger or the smell of someone's perfume.

If ever we are to meet again,
I wish to meet you on a warm sandy beaches;
While reading your favorite book, a sturdy old log as your cushion-Escaping from reality,
With a distance laughter of your friends enjoying their break under the summer sun;
I'd ask how you've been while holding a book written by my favorite poet...
