Chapter 12: Love Exposed- Slash P.O.V./Izzy P.O.V./ Alex P.O.V.

Izzy P.O.V.-

Slash was running across the venue and I knew exactly why, regardless of what had happened I hoped deep down inside that at least Nikki got a few good hits on Slash. That probably wasn't going to happen though. sigh.

Slash P.O.V.-

Axl was driving me and the boys home. I was in the front with him and the others were in the back. "Dude I think Vince is like...like...dead," Duff spoke. First there was silence then there was laughter. All of us were laughing hysterically. It really wasn't that funny but Steven sounded like a retarded dolphin when he laughed so that was fuelling all of our laughter even more.

We were all a mess, we got kicked out from the club for the night but the owner said he liked our enthusiasm so we would be playing there again tomorrow night. I wasn't gonna lie, Alex had been on my mind all night, I just hoped she was okay. "So Slasher, how are you and your girly friend hmmm?", Steven asked. "I don't know what you're talking about Popcorn," I knew exactly who he was talking about. "Dude you knooowww, the love of your life and what not..Alex ring a bell?". "Fine, yeah I like her okay-", the boys errupted with howls screaming "oooo".

"Alex and Slash sitting in a tree-", Steven sang. "Adler you're like 25 bro not 7," I scoffed.

Eventually Axl pulled up to my place and i headed up the steps. I was still a sweaty mess when I walked in, hair even more crazy than usual, ripped Aerosmith shirt, and glitter out the ass. Alex wasn't in the living room where I had left her. Maybe she was in the bathroom? Walking a little faster than usual, I made it down the hall and into my room. Alex was on my bed cuddled up in my blankets. I wasn't surprised it was almost 3AM.

Her leg was uncovered and slightly over the edge of the bed, she was too cute to wake up so I lifted her leg onto the bed and tucked her in. Her shirt was also starting to slide down a bit, I pinched the top hem and lifted it back into its place.. She really was the most adorable sleeper. Though, when I lifted the covers some papers floated down to the floor. When I got a closer look in realized what they were, my song lyrics.

Fuck. These were some of the most meaningful and truthful lyrics I'd ever written. Writing lyrics was always tough for me but then I would think about Alex and pretty soon I had songs upon songs written down.

Well now she knew, guess we will talk about it in the morning.

Alex P.O.V.-

Waking up in familiar arms, it was nice. I turned over and faced Slash. His hair was sprawled across his face. "Good morning sunshine," I giggled. "Hmmm. Hey there," Slash whispered. Then it hit him. His arms were around me still, he quickly sat up and placed his hands in his lap. "Was I holding you like that all night? Wow. I'm so sorry Alex." He was so embarrassed and it was the cutest thing ever. "Slash it's fine," I said with a small smile.

He made us breakfast and I must say it was definitely another one of his hidden talents, blueberry pancakes and bacon. "So how was the show last night hot rod?", we hadn't gotten around to talking about it yet. "Haha you'll never guess who I ran into! I saw your best friend, and then me and the boys kicked his ass," I was so confused, I really had no friends except the boys. I shot him a confused look. " Vince. I saw Vince last night," he confirmed. This was news, Vince knew I was friends with Izzy so it surprised me that he would ever show up to a Guns show. Other than that I felt cared for, Slash really did care.

"Thanks Slash, you really have no idea how much this means. I've never had anyone in my life really and truly care about me so thank you." I glanced up at his face through his dark curls and he almost looked nervous?

Slash P.O.V.-

It was now or never. "You got this dude", I mentally encouraged myself. "Look Alex, you know I'm so happy that you have come back into my life and all but there is something I need to tell you and i don't want you to get freaked out or anything but you need to know. Ever since we were little you had the power to turn my shitty days into beautiful nightmares. My inner circle really only consisted of you. Even though we were young, after you left I got into a lot of bad shit Al.

Started hanging around with those dicks from down the block, smoking all sorts of stuff, I became someone I wasn't and it stayed that way for a really long time, but you Alex, you bring out the best in me and you make me want to be a better person and I know I couldn't live another day without you..and...and...and..no matter how many girls I slept with, how many relationships I had, at the end of the day I wanted you to be in my arms.

Alex I want to wake up next to you every day for the rest of forever. I love you Alex." I had never been so nervous in my life but I had also never felt so relieved. Glancing up at her I realized she wa crying. No! I went around the table and held her, resting my chin on her head, "Hey baby girl don't cry! Why are you crying, I'm sorry I just thought this was something you-," she interrupted my scrambling apology with the best thing anyone could have ever said.

"No Slash, I'm not upset, I'm just extremely happy. I love you too," she turned around to look up at me. Was there fireworks outside? Yes? Oh there isn't? There needs to be. "And there is something, something I need to do, something long over due," she hobbled up out of her seat with her little red leg cast, turning around to me.

She gave me this perfect smile, the one she would give me when I would jump the fence to her house and sneak through her window to comfort her. I knew exactly what smile that one was. We both leaned in and for the first time ever, I kissed the girl I truly loved.
