I sighed laying in my bed hugging my pillow watching the sun arch downwards. Someone laid down behind me their arms holding me close. I looked down eyes widening. I relax when I realized it was brinery. I closed my eyes and let my thoughts drift.

"Brinery" I say.

"Yes Stevey" he asks.

"Can I come live with you I don't like it here" I say as a zombie groans thwacking it's hands against a door.

More join it suddenly the door splinters. Brinery's eyes jerk up and the zombies come after me. I leap up out of his grasp backing away. I watch as he stands up wielding a large double bladed obsidian battle axe. He swept through them easily. They collapsed and fizzled.

"Get your stuff backed Steve" he said.

I knew even gods got tired. He fought hard to keep the house clear. We fled relatively quickly my backpack all I carried other than my sheathed sword. He sprinted towards a portal. We were cut off by a familiar god. Jeb stood there full battle armor. His helmet was basic style aside from the sides which had large wings. The rest of him was basic medieval style. He had a sword pointed at brinery. My brinery my lover my only good thing. Brinery growled and charged Jeb. I knew a god could send another into a coma for a maximum of five years. I swallowed hard tears stinging at my eyes. Jeb swung a deadly arch and brinery crumpled.

"Come along Steve" he grumbled

This was an outrage. He'd sent Herobrine into a coma and expected me to come with him. I clamped my hands into fists. He glared at me.

"Don't be blind Steve what's he doing that makes you love him so-" he started only to be punched in the mouth. The character was unfamiliar to me he had on a suit with a yellow and orange tie. He also wore shades.

"Be nice" he growled. Jeb seemed scared.

" y-y-yes gatekeeper" Jeb stammered and disappeared. The gatekeeper kneeled down and took Herobrine's pulse.

"Brinery will be fine let me escort you to his castle though I've recently reopened his teleporting ability" the male said.

"So you're the one that keeps the gods from hurting eachother" I ask.

"No, I keep the gods from hurting mortals brinery wether you know or not is mortal no one will lay him to rest so he suffers endless pain." He replied.

"I would" I say.

"And you will at one point" he said.
