Jordan

I sighed slightly then glanced at Steve and Brinery they both looked like they were about to pass out the other looked wide awake. Steve was the first to yawn which set off a chain reaction. I led them to empty rooms and walked down next to Ant a viscous smile on by face.

"Jordan we can't" he said.

"Wha- why not?" I ask.

"Somebody else is taking up the space Jordan" ant said. I knew what he meant and I had to physically cover my mouth to keep from screaming in happiness.

"You understood I was pregnant right?" Ant asked. I nodded and hugged him tightly.

"I'm screaming internally" I said and scooped him up into my arms.

He giggled madly which always drove me crazy. I walked up the stairs to our room and entered it. We hadn't slept in it for about a month. The last time we had we'd left a mess. The bed was tousled our clothes littered around the room. A few droplets of blood from us biting each other were on the sheets. I went to tidying up just in case out guests needed to wake us up. Ant laid down first and I laid down next holding him close stroking his hair.

"I love you" I whispered but I didn't get an answer for he was already sound asleep.

The next morning I woke up early when the fog was still rolling through the tree and it was chilly. I glanced over at my husband and got out of bed. I'll always think he's more attractive when he's asleep. He relaxes and seems younger. I love when he's relaxed but it rarely happens. He's constantly worrying about something but every once in a while he'll calm down. I walked down the stairs to the kitchen. I was surprised to find that someone was up earlier than me. Israphel was standing by one of the windows looking out of it half mindedly. He had slight tear stains running down his face.

"Hey what's the matter" I asked. He jumped startled out of his trance.

"Was I in the way?" He asks.

"No I was just wondering why you were upset" I say.

"Oh, I was crying again wasn't I" he said. I nodded.

"Well, when I used to work for brinery I worked at a castle I had a wife and a little girl on the way but when he died war broke out trying to claim the castle it collapsed trapping my wife inside. She dies of suffocation before I could get her out and I dreamed of her last night." Israphel replied.

I felt terrible listening to that. He looked so lost and scared. I was like that when I'd lost my mom and dad.
