This can not be him

Ah, summer breaks.
The loveliest time of the year for tired students and some workers.

But not for your friendless bored self.

Sitting on your sofa, watching your favourite movie and eating till' you can't move was the best thing you had for that unfortunate night. In the morning of course you had plans to visit that giant old tree in the woods next to your house. Maybe you would have a big, interesting and totally one you weren't gonna die sacrificing yourself for 'the greater good' adventure.

Your train of thought went flying down that bridge it was on when you heard obnoxious loud knocks on your door. Not wanting to get up from your safe, comfortable spot on the couch, you hoped that the person who decided to visit you in the middle of the night got the hint and will be walking away from the door.

Unfortunately for you, they did not go away.
Signing heavily, you got yourself off of the couch and made your way towards the door.
When you reached that said door, you stood there with the smallest glimpse of hope that they will go away and let you watch your movie.

But no. Of course no.

The fourth set of loud knocks hit the door and you're left with no choice but to answer it

Grabbing and twisting that doorknob was the worst thing you could ever do to yourself.

Infrond of you was... Mysterio?

I mean...he was in a full costume.

He looked nervous, at the point where you felt bad. He was shaking, not to mention that he looked tired and scared.
His gaze met yours and he quickly looked down as if he was a teenage boy confessing his feelings to you.
Obviously confused if you're seeing Jake Gyllenhaal in costume or it was actually Quentin Beck.
The second option was out of the way since it was impossible for a fictional villain to be here.

"Can I come inside?"

Beck was nervous to say the least. But, here he was, infrond of a fictional book character loved by many, himself included.
They looked better than the book described and the movie showed. It felt kinda intimidating to be in their presence, even if the book said it was soft and reflected protection.

He lied to himself. He did feel protected. Too much for his comfort.

Both of them stood there for a couple more seconds until they stood aside and told him he could enter.

To say the least you felt uneasy and confused. Do not forget to give credits to the feeling of terror you felt climbing your spine.
'What if you allowed a murder in your home. You don't have any weaponry or cameras around to either protect yourself or have the killer caught on tape.'
'Maybe he really is just as confused as I am'
You were arguing with yourself at that point. Both... parts of you, were kinda correct.

You went with the option of asking him what he's doing here and then act.

Meanwhile Beck was amazed by his surroundings. They were so... real and so... cozy than what he imagined them to be.
Turning back to face you he said that he would explain what and who he is.

Sitting down the dialogue started:

"I'm Quentin Beck, I was a soldier at earth 616 until that earth got destroyed by the elementals, the things we were fighting, and I was forced to go to earth 199999, where now I'm known as an international hero. Now I came here because-"

"Dont lie to me."

Huh?

"What? I'm saying the truth-"

"You're Quentin Beck a fired worker of Stark industries. You think that Tony Stark took your lifes work and-"

No,no,no,no,no-

"- named it B.A.R.F. now you want to get revenge and be a greater hero than him throught lies and manipulation. I do not know how you came here but i know that the 616 earth is a lie"

He sat there in complete silence. They... they weren't impressed. They should be impressed.

"How-"

"You're a fictional character on this earth I do not know which exactly but yeah. You're fictional."

They said it so calmly that the man infrond of them now was kind of reliefed when he heard them say it like that. Maybe he could-

"Now why did you come here?"

He had two options:
Tell them or not.
