So I figured when I'm stuck on what to write for the main story I'd do stuff like this and one-shots lemme know if you guys are cool with that 😁

••Mikayla's POV••
It was finally my 6th birthday. "Mom mom mom mom mom mom wake up! Dad dad dad dad wake up" (when mikayla was younger before she lived with Blake and then she called her mom mom and her dad dad) I jumped on their bed trying to wake my parents up even though us was 5 in the morning. "Go back to bed sweetie it's still early" my mom said groggy, my dad was still somehow asleep. "Fine".
I turned and left the room only to go down stairs and get some cereal and watch He-Ra (currently watching the She-ra remake irl lol) on my tablet which was an early birthday present. When I was done eating I paused my show and put my dishes on the counter beside the sink. It was 6:00am by the time I was done eating and watched a few more episodes of my show. Since no one else was up to decided to go in the backyard for a bit to play on the swing set for a while.
••time skip to 7:00am••
I decided to get of the swings and head inside. I heard mom and dad talking about an amusement park but ignored it and went in. "Hey mom hi dad". "Did you even go back to bed" my mom asked. "I mean I went to my room to get my tablet...." my mom just gave me a 'seriously' look. "Go get dressed we're going out later" my dad said while making breakfast which reminded me. "Oh right I already had breakfast so it's just you guys who need to eat". My dad chuckled and answered. "We noticed" he gestured to my bowl on the counter. And my mom laughed. "Yea sure you noticed" I said playfully "anyway I'm gonna go change now". I went up stairs to my room and put on a pair of light pink leggings and a purple shirt with a pink butterfly on it, brushed my hair the my teeth and put my hair in a ponytail.
