I couldn't sleep that night, the clock hit 2am....3am and 4 am...

I couldn't stop thinking about the bottle, the needle and my dads unconscious body and his arm lunging at me and hitting me in the face.

The words he said to me ran through my head....

*I don't want to see your fucking face*

Over and over again.

10 more minutes past by and...

I heard the door unlock and two laughing voices stumbling around and whacking into stuff filled the peaceful silence...

My father...

Drunk...

Again....

WAIT!

And a woman?

I listen closely and i can hear them chatting laughing then...

Kissing?

Are you kidding! My mom died a year ago and hes already with another woman!?

Disgusting!

After 20 minutes I heard moaning and blocked them out with a pillow over my head.

A hour passed.

They were talking at a normal tone but then there voices turned into yelling.

My dad's voice fueled the walls like bullets bouncing off and hitting glass. The house was now filled with this  tension and anger as if some type of demonic presence took over.

"YOU STUPID SKANK! WHY WOULD YOU LET ME DO THAT?!"

"Raymond! You... You, wanted it...! You came on to me!"

"NO! DONT YOU DARE FUCKING TURN THIS AROUND AND LIE TO ME YOU UGLY BITCH! I WOULD HAVE NEVER TOUCHED YOU IF YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER LED ME ON!!!! "

A loud crash echoed down the hall.

Screaming and crying from the woman made everything feel more intense and real.

I froze and pulled the covers over my head hoping it would go away.

Hoping this tsunami of chaos would stop.

"Raymond! Raymond what... What are you doing!"

My dads laugh sounded almost sadistic like he finally snapped and lost his mind.

"Put the Knife down Are you crazy?! You already threw me into the glass table is that not enough for you,?! you hurt me Raymond I'm bleeding!"

Her voice was so innocent and scared as if she was a angel that was facing the devil himself.

"NO! YOU NEED TO BE PUNISHED FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME!"

It scared me because sometimes the devil wins and this is unfortunately one of those times.

"R...Raymond I didn't do anything wrong! Why are you doing this please...Dont"

"SHUT UP BITCH!"

Her violent screams echoed and bounced off the walls as though it was bouncing directly at me like how a bouncy ball bounces off the floor, well this was like a bouncy ball being violently thrown directly at me and leaving indents in my skin... the atmosphere of the once loving home I lived in was no longer the same, it was now darkened, like a black smoke engulfed and ate away at everything that was and is good.
