you and colby were doing the dishes from dinner and you dropped one by accident.
you saw it hit the ground and shatter, having bad flashbacks from your old relationship.

"Y/N YOUR SO STUPID WHY DID YOU BREAK IT!?", your boyfriend max yelled at you.
"IM SORRY IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!", you stood up and tried to walk away, but max gripped your arm and tugged you back furiously.
you felt a big sting on your face, realizing he just hit you.

"IM SORRY IM SORRY PLEASE DONT HURT ME.", your entire body shook as you covered your face.
"hey hey, i would never hurt you!", colby said in a comforting way, but you were still scared.
"why would you ever think that?!", he tried holding you to calm you down but you pulled away.
"m-max. u-used t-o.", you started to sob even more and shake everywhere at this point.

once she said those words, a tear fell from my eye.
i sprung towards her grabbing her and holding her closer than ever before.
just to think the love of my life was hurt by someone else makes me want to protect her from everything.
"i-im sorry.", i said crying into her neck.
"colby i-its not your fault.", she sobbed.
"i just want you to know that your safe with me, im never gonna let anyone touch you like that ever again."
