"bye have a nice night!!", you closed the door and set the bowl of candy down.
"was that our last trick or treater?", colby said from the kitchen.
"yup, were done for tonight.", you walked over to the kitchen and saw colby on his phone.
you walked over to him and rested your forehead on his chest.
he put his phone down on the counter and held your waist.
"you know what we get to do now?", colby whispered in your ear.
"what?", you giggled feeling his warm breath tickling your ear.
he picked up his phone and tapped the screen.

colby ran upstairs, you followed him up.
"colby what are you doing?", you laughed running up the stairs.
"youll see."
he ran up to your decoration closet and pulled out your tree, lights, ornaments, and your star.
"where decorating right now?!"
"yes , now come on hurry up!!"
he picked up various items and ran downstairs.
you smiled to yourself and grabbed your tree and carried it down.
you set the tree in the stand colby set up, "come on lets get to decorating!", colby jumped up and down and plugged in the multicolored lights.
you both circled the tree putting various bright and sparkely items on the tree.
"we forgot the star.", colby picked up the star laying on the ground.
"your tall you can reach the toppp."
"come on pleaseee!!"
"ok fine.", you got off the couch and walked over to him, he kneeled down and you put your legs over his shoulders.
you held onto his hands as he got up, he wobbled a little bit making you nervous, but he held your legs keeping you stable.
"i got you.", he said reassuring you that you were safe.
you smiled and leaned forward a. little topping the tree with the golden star.
"yay!!", colby let you down and sweetly kissed your forehead.
you smiled and kissed his lips.
"now, what about a movie?"
"hmmm lemme guess a christmas movie?"
