"so i finally asked daddy why his belly was getting so big and found out im gonna have a baby brother," harry said as soon as he sat down on his table, all his friends gasping looking excited for him.
"really?!" nick squealed as he hugged his teddy bear, "im happy for you haz!" he said with a slight lisp.
zayn instantly nodded his head in agreement, "yeah, you're gonna be a great big brother," he responded, giving a harry a thumbs up.
harry giggled, turning to ashton, who was sadly shaking his head.
"i have a baby brother," he grumbled.
harry raised his eyebrows in interest, "do you like it?" he asked, smiling.
ashton instantly shook his head, "you're gonna hate it, haz! hes gonna take all the attention away from your parents, and they'll never have time for you anymore," he said, "thats what happened when luke was born," he swore.
"plus," he added, "i never asked for a little brother anyways."
harry bit his lip, his excitement suddenly vanishing.
"never asked for one either," harry whispered under his breath.
zayn and nick winced,
"yeah harry, probably shouldn't be too excited for that," zayn said,
nick bit his lip, "im still excited for you, though," he whispered, smiling sweetly at the boy seconds later.
harry bit his lip, deciding he was no longer excited about having a baby brother.

the family of three (soon to be the family of four) were all sitting down together eating dinner,
and louis couldn't help but notice the whole time they were eating together, harry was staring at his bump.
it made louis' heart flutter, realizing that harry actually liked the idea of having a little brother and the idea of being a big one.
louis smiled, putting his hands on his stoamach, looking at liam.
"daddy," harrys little voice called out.
"yeah, pumpkin?" louis responded.
"why did you eat the baby?" harry asked, eyes wide.
louis let out a loud laugh before shaking his head, turning to liam,
"its like a seed growing into a flower," liam explained, "but in your papa's tummy,"
harry nodded his head, studying louis' bump, "can you take the seed out," he asked curiously.
"why do you want to know?" louis challenged, raising an eyebrow.
"cause i don't want a little brother," harry responded simply, "and i wanna know if you can take him out," he pouted.
louis opened his mouth in shock, "what do you mean?" he asked, looking at liam who looked just as shocked as him.
"never asked for a little brother daddy," harry whined, jutting his bottom lip out, "wan' a puppy," he said, smiling innocently, completely unaware of how badly his words were hurting both his parents.
