A Royal Surprise

Chapter 13

Chat Noir's POV

"I like you, Marinette! I went to China for you not Ladybug." I state, as we stare into each other's eyes.
"I like you too, Adrien!" Marinette proclaims. I stare at her completely shocked. She knows who I am.
"What did you say?" I quickly say.
"I know you're my kitty, Agreste." She responds.
"How long?" I ask shocked.
"I figured it out yesterday." She answers.
"Claws in," I state and detransform.
"Princess, meet my kwima, Plagg."
"Aww your so cute!" She cheers, petting him on the head. I hand him a piece of cheese.
"She's a keeper, Kid." Plagg exclaims as he starts purring. I put on a sad face and say "What about me?" She stops patting Plagg and he flys a few feet away to eat his camembert.
"Is someone jealous?" She asks playfully.
"Of course not because your all mine." I answer pulling her close then kissing her. She wraps her arms around my neck deepening the kiss. I pull away.
"I really hate to leave but I have to get back to the hotel before someone notices I'm gone." I state.
"Good night, Kitty."
"Night, Princess." I answer. I give her a quick kiss then transform and head back to the hotel.

Marinette's POV Next day

"Marinette! Wake up!" Tikki yells.
"Five more minutes." I respond.
"Come on. Your going dress shopping today!" Tikki exclaims.
"Sleep now. Shop later." I answer.
"I'm trying to get her up, Adrien!" Tikki whines. I sit up when I hear his name.
"Where's Adrien?" I ask. Tikki giggles.
"You just missed him but since you're up you can get ready for the day." Tikki replies.
"You tricked me!" I proclaim.
"How else was I supposed to get you up. Now get ready!" She commands. I roll my eyes. Then I get up and went to my walk in closet. I pick put a yellow sun dress with black heels.

I set it on my bed. Then take a quick shower. When I'm done, I brush my teeth, apply light makeup etc. Then put my dress, and heels on then fix my hair in a side braid. I exit my rooms and go to Alya's. I go to knock on her door but she opens it.
"Your ready so we can go get breakfast!" I state. Alya's wearing a pink skirt and a black shirt.
"Yep, so let's get Ashton." She responds and we walk to his room. Alya knocks on the door and he opens it.
"Hey, girls! Ready to get your dresses?" Ashton asks.
"I can't wait!" I exclaim. He closes his bedroom door and we make small talk on our way to breakfast.

We sit down in the same spots we always do. They servants put the food on the table and then we pick out what we want. We talk while we're eating.
"Instead of going to the mall to get a dress, we have a few dresses for you and Alya to choose from. That way no one will see you." Father announces.
"Yes, Father." I ask.
"You two will look at the dresses after breakfast!" Mothers states. We finish eating then head back up to my room where they have put the dresses. It's Alya, Mother, Mathew, Ashton, and I. Mathew is going to pick a suit out later today so he took school off. Ashton and him are going to help Alya and I find the perfect dresses.

We walk in my room and there is about forty dresses to choose from. Alya and I need three because there are three balls.
"Where do we start?" Alya asks.
"No idea." I state. Mathew and Mom walks up and both grabs a dress. Mathew's is purple mermaid style dress. Mom's is white with flower print and reaches below my knees. Mom hands me her dress while Mathew hands Alya his.
"Start here." Mom cheers. We nod and head to the bathroom. We put the dresses on then walk out to show them.
"How do we look?" I ask.
"I think we can do better." Ashton states. He hands Alya a pink dress and me a light blue one. We do this for about two hours until we finally find the perfect dresses.
All my dresses are long and sleeveless. The first one is blue, second is yellow, and third is red. Alya's first dress is a long two piece pinkish orange color. The second is a short sleeveless yellow dress. The third is a long two piece light blue dress. Will see a picture the night of the balls.

After we finished, Mathew picked out his tuxedo in two minutes. He's just going to wear black and white. That's not fair! Boys have it easy! Anyway, after we finished everything we just messed around. Until it was time for Adrien to visit me again. Then by the power of the author, he miraculous knocks on the balcony door.

"I wonder who could be visiting me at eight o'clock at night?" I sarcastically say as I opened the door.
"Good evening, Princess!" Chat exclaims.
"Hey, Adrien." I replie. I give him a kiss on the cheek. Before walking back over to my bed to sit down. Adrien detrasforms before sitting down beside me.
"What did you guys do today?" I ask.
"We went shopping to make sure everyone had something nice to wear for your coronation. What about you, Mari?" Adrien questions.
"Alya and I picked out our dresses. It took two hours!" I proclaim. He laughs.
"I bet you'll look pawstivly purrfect, Princess!" I roll my eyes at his lame cat puns.
"I better. Anyway, there's something we need to talk about." I answer getting serious.
"It's about you getting engaged isn't." He asks.
"Yeah it is. I know I have no right to ask you this but..." I start saying but get cut off by Adrien kissing me. I kiss him back then pull away and say "That's one way to shut me up." I giggle.
"Marinette, I use to think I was in love with Ladybug but now I relies it was always you! I love you and I would jump in front of a bullet for you! I don't care that I'm sixteen or what my Father might say because I love you. I will gladly marry you if you'll take this ally cat as your husband. " He confesses. I smile at him.
"You silly, Kitty! Spots on!" I proclaim and transform in to Ladybug.
"Ladybug!" Adrien Cheers.
"I love you too, Chaton! Marinette Agreste has a lovely ring to it." I proclaim then kiss him.

And they lived happily ever after!
