So I asked the question. "One of you must... must be mine, my guardian angel. Who?"

"Y/n, you know who it is. You don't have to ask." Jake said.

It's like he read my mind or something. I did know, deep down in my heart, I knew it was him.

"It's you..." I whispered as his eyes stayed on mine, not moving an inch.

"Jake, you could've told her it was you! You knew she wanted to hear you say it." Josh scolded Jake.

"What's the difference? She knows it's me, whether I told her or not." He shrugged.

I smiled, looking down at my lap. He had a way of being- I don't know the word, alluring? Enticing? Without even trying. It frustrated me, he was just so effortlessly him. It was perfect.

"I'll show you where you'll be staying, come with me." He said.

So I followed him, all the way to his bedroom.

"This is my room, but you'll be staying here for a while."

"Oh no, I couldn't-"

"Don't worry, I won't be in there with you." He said.

My face went red with embarrassment, how did he know what I was thinking?

"Where will you be sleeping then?" I asked.

He laughed, finding what I said quite amusing.

"I won't be needing the bed."

My face scrunched up, still confused.

"I don't sleep." He said.

I mean I'd be lying if I said I completely understood him, no bed?! How can somebody live without sleeping. It's preposterous.

"You still not convinced?" He smirked.

"What, can you like read my mind or something?" I asked, not really wanting an answer.

"You're just so predictable."

Hey guys!! This is just a little bit of an introduction to see if anyone likes this idea. I'm not sure if I want to continue with this idea myself but I thought I'd publish what I'd already written.
