Dean
Dabbing a cold damp flannel on her sweaty forehead, I stared at her with sheer concern as she lay passed out in her bed.
Flashbacks of the night swarmed my head tirelessly. Seeing Rosie in that state made my heart ache, it made every inch of my body tremble with uncontrollable anger and rage. Someone had drugged her with the intention of taking her away and using her without her consent.
"So tell me again how you found her". Brushing the loose strands of hair away from her face I looked up at Jackson with an unimpressed expression awaiting his answer.
"Like I said boss. I was at the club and saw her by the bar. I got talking to her and I went to go answer a phone call and when I came back she was losing control. I escorted her out of the club in hopes to bring her to safety. Thank goodness you were there to take her home".
Anger flooded my mind like a poison making every thought dark and dangerous. I wanted to find the person responsible for hurting Rosie. I wanted to torture and kill them. I had been denying any feelings for Rosie for so long, but seeing her helpless in Jackson's arms made me realise that this girl had me wrapped around her finger. She had me captivated and captured in her presence, but I was a voluntary captive for I wanted to be with her.
Gently entwining my hand in hers, I stroked the back of her hand with my thumb still angry and on edge, but one touch from her soft skin put my heart at ease and my soul to rest. Nobody ever had that effect on me. As much as I hated seeing her like this, I couldn't be more relieved that she was safe here with me. I would never let any harm come to her again.
"Boss, allow me to check the club's CCTV and I'll find the man responsible". Right now, finding the person responsible was the least of my concerns. I just wanted to ensure she was alright.
"Fine. Report back to me once you find out who it is".
Jackson nodded sharply staring at Rosie intensely with a strange expression on his face. But once he caught me gazing back at him with annoyance, his body relaxed and nodded before abruptly leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
"I should've been there to protect you babygirl, I'm sorry".
"Rosie!" The door burst open revealing my little sister rushing into the room with tears in her eyes.
"Lucy, she's gonna be okay".
Lucy walked up to Rosie not even acknowledging my presence and rested her hand on her head.
"This is my fault, I let her go out and if it weren't for me I"-
"Shut the hell up! How were you supposed to know that this would happen. It's not your fault or Rosie's. Believe me, when I get my hands on the guy who did this, he'll be begging for forgiveness".
Lucy's face suddenly scrunched up and fisted her hands tightly together.
"Wait till I get my hands on him" Lucy mumbled menacingly under her breath.
No-one scares me more than my little sister.
Lucy took a step back and smiled sadly before turning around.
"Please, tell me when she wakes up".
"Of course".
Lucy turned around and headed towards the bedroom door. Grasping the handle and twisting it, Lucy suddenly stopped and spun around staring at me with a huge smile on her face.
"I knew you'd come around".
"Get lost".
Lucy chuckled softly whilst wiping away a tear that slipped down her cheek. She smiled adoringly once more before stepping out of the room and closed the door behind her.
"After seeing us like this, she won't ever live it down. Guess you're gonna be stuck with us for a while longer baby" I whispered to Rosie softly stroking her pale cheeks once more desperately wishing she'd wake up.
Adam (Reminder: The man who ordered for Lucy to be hurt and the man who killed Dean and Lucy's parents)
"Well, it's about time the rookie showed up. I was beginning to question your loyalties boy".
I poured myself another glass as the tall and smartly dressed man edged before me cautiously.
"You know I would never go against you".
"Of course you wouldn't. You know the consequences of being a traitor". Grabbing another glass, I opened up the bottle of whiskey and poured it in the empty glass and nudged the full glass forward towards him.
"Drink and give me updates of last night's events". The man walked out of the shadow now with a completely different demeanour. He had a twisted menacing smirk on his face and walked over with his head held high. I could tell I was about to receive good news.
"Dean definitely has feelings for Rosie".
The young lad took a swig of his drinks before leaning back in the armchair with one of his legs crossed over on top of the other.
"And what proof do you have of this. Did you follow through with the plan?".
"Of course I did. I got chatting with her at the bar and brought her a drink. She was stupid to turn away from the drink and as a result I slipped the drug into her cup. She drunk it and I was close to taking her, but then he arrived".
"He saw you?".
"No. He saw me escorting her outside. From his point of view he thought I was bringing her to him. He thought I was taking her somewhere safe".
This man. A power seeking mutt was all he was. Jumping from one group to the other like a lap dog hungry for power and money.
"So he doesn't suspect you? What if she remembers?".
"No. She's currently passed out. And I suppose if she does remember, then she'll need to be eliminated".
How dare he!
Throwing my glass in sheer frustration, I yanked at his collar and pulled him up smashing him against the wall.
"You will not touch a hair on my little dove's head. Is that clear? She's mine to deal with, not yours".
"I, I understand boss".
"Now get out of my sight Jackson. Make sure he doesn't find out where his best friends new loyalties lie. Also find out more about Dean's intentions with my little dove".
Who's shipping Rosie and Dean?
Lucy is honestly sister goals.
And what do you make of Jackson's betrayal. Will Dean find out?
