Chapter 29: Warrior

Rosie

5 days. I had been here with Adam for 5 whole days and I was slowly starting to lose hope that I'd be rescued. I'm not surprised though. Lucy would always be first in Dean's life and any attempt to save me would put Lucy's life at risk.

"Little dove, come and join me for breakfast".

I turned away from the large window and grimaced seeing the shirtless man sit up in bed staring at me with a lust filled hunger gaze. His eyes roamed down my body making my skin crawl subtly.

"No thanks, not hungry". I bit my lip harshly to restrain the insult that I threatened to blurt out, but I knew the consequences if I did. Adam made sure to inform me of all the consequences if I disobeyed him. But what the sadistic man didn't know was that I had now lost all the care in the world. I had lost everything. I lost my family, my friends, Dean and now my freedom. What else do I have to lose?.

"We could always have breakfast right here on the bed".

"You're disgusting" I recoiled back unimpressed with his innuendo. But it only seemed to spur him on further.

"Oh baby, you'll get used to it and in time I'm sure you'll love it. But let's save that for our wedding night tomorrow. I have to make everything is perfect for my little dove".

"Whatever". I turned my back to him and continued to stare out the window assessing for a possible way out of the Devil's den. Since being here he has not allowed me out of the room unless he's with me. I cannot speak to anyone, maid's or guards, I can only talk to him.

Dean

"Sir, you need to take this call, it's urgent".

James and I were in a very important meeting with my top men in hopes of tracking Adam's whereabouts as to plan and prepare a sneak attack on his base and rescue my girl out of his clutches.

"How urgent is it because this meeting is crucial". The same meeting had been going on for 3 days now. We had tried everything, but we always came to a dead end.

"Urgent. We've got eyes on Jackson".

"Give it to me" I held out my phone, desperate to hear his whereabouts. I was going to tear him in two.

"Where is the bastard?" I growled into the phone.

"He was seen snooping around the exterior of the office driving around in a blacked out car".

Adam's trying to keep tabs on me too. He's scared because he's taken someone precious from me. He knows I will hunt him down.

"I want you to bring him here, alive. We need answers and that mutt is going to give them to us. Understood?". I could see a glint of pride on James' face as I finally felt we were getting somewhere.

"Of course boss. We'll have him with you in 15 minutes". I didn't doubt my men. They were ruthless, but they always got the job done no matter how hard the task was.

Hanging up I turned to James and my men with a huge smile on my face.

"We're one step closer to getting Rosie back".

"Hey you".

My sister smiled up at me in the hospital bed whilst pressing a button on a TV remote.

"Hi". Walking over to her I lent down and pressed a kiss on her forehead whilst staring up at the tv screen only to see she was watching a movie that wasn't appropriate for her age.
