"So um, who is this man, James?".

I felt a little uncomfortable going to a random person's house for dinner, but I had Dean and Lucy so I knew it would be alright. But I didn't understand why I was invited too. I would've been more than happy to stay back at the house and for them go to their friends house.

"James is a good friend of ours and he's also a business partner of mine. He's done a lot for us and has helped us in many ways". Dean had a soft smile on his face as he kept his eyes on the road.

"Yeah, James and Isabella are like our second family. Honestly, there's no better couple. They're a match made in heaven". I turned around to see Lucy beaming at me.

"But I don't mean to be rude, but why was I invited too? I mean, I don't know them".

Dean chuckled lightly and shook his head making me frown.

"James is the type of man who's interested in every aspect of our life. I believe Maria let slip that you were staying with us and he was curious about you".

"He can be quite intimidating to strangers, but I promise you he's more like a teddy bear once you get to know him" Lucy interjected. I hope he doesn't interrogate me tonight.

"Ooh we're here".

Staring out the window, my eyes fell upon a small house in the countryside surrounded by trees and beautiful flowers. It was the picture perfect house that you only see on the Internet. I would kill to have a home like this.

"Are you gonna get out of the car or do you want me to bring dinner out to you in the car?". My eyes flew up to Dean who was standing by my door with a menacing smirk.

Damn, how zoned out was I?

"You coming Rosie?" Dean held out his hand towards me and before he could catch sight of my red flushed cheeks I slipped my hand into his and allowed him to pull me up.

"Thanks" I blurted out before rushing over to Lucy. He had a wicked effect over me, and I hated it.

"Oh, I hope you love dogs. They have an adorable excitable puppy".

Lucy's excitable voice suddenly turned sinister as she turned around to face me on the small steps leading up to the house.

"But if you don't like dogs then I hate you and I never want to see you again".

She's 11 and she scares the shit out of me.

"Who can hate dogs? They're much more tolerable that humans". Lucy nodded in agreement before turning back to knock on the door.

I giggled lowly hearing an ecstatic puppy barking loudly and clawing at the door eager to pounce on us. Glancing around, my eyes met with Dean who was smiling widely at me as he slowly walked up behind me.

The door swung open and a mouth watering scent of food cooking hit my nostrils like a strong wind. I was already drawn in by the smell wafting through the home. But before I could gaze upon the home owner, a small yet wild puppy bounded towards us jumping up at our legs, tail wagging wildly and barking loudly unable to contain their excitement.

"Hello guys. I'm so glad you could make it". As the puppy ran back inside and nuzzled its nose upon a pair of very slim looking legs, my eyes roamed up to meet one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen. She was truly breath taking. She must've been late 20's, early 30's, but she was stunning.

"Oh, Hello. You must be Rosie. We've heard a lot about you. Oh sorry, my name is Isabella. Welcome to our home".

Heard so much about me? What have they been saying about me? Did Dean tell them of how we met or something.
