5. Turnabout Gatewater Investigation

Sebastian Debeste

Gatewater Hotel | Shi-Long Lang's Room

Tellula wickedly errupted in fits of laughter, "You're indicting me as the murderer? How outrageous! Where is your evidence? As a former Chief of Detective, collecting evidence is a must. Now where's yours kid?"

I winced as I try to think of something to refute. The only evidences I have in my organizer are the autopsy report, the metal faucet, the glass shards from the room's window, the hankerchief with no results yet, the secutiry card scanner from the stock room and Shelly de Killer's card from Kay.

Which evidence will be conclusive towards Tellula Fin?

I squinted my eyes before grabbing the evidence. Franziska locked eyes with me then shifting her gaze at the evidence in my hand.

She shut her eyes and nodded, she stood silent with her arms crossed. I shut mines trying to think this situation through.

"Let the evidence speak for itself!" His eyes looked more fierce than ever, as he presented the evidence on the bench. I gaze towards the witness and he scrambled in the witness stand trying to get away, "aAAAHHHHHH! Damn you, Miles Edgeworth!" Mr. Edgeworth stood silent watching the witness breakdown.

"As long as the evidence stands, the culprit will fall, and the truth will come to light."

I open my eyes to see the enemy standing tall with her smiles plastered on her face, I inhaled my breath and exhaled. I presented the evidence in front of her and her smile suddenly faded, cold sweat started to build up on her forehead, and she clenched her fists.

"T-that's.."

I cut her off, "This is Shelly de Killer's calling card, is it not?"

"W-where did you get that?"

I put on a smirk on my face, "Why the reaction, Ms. Telulla?" I asked her, she trembled in front of me.

"I-it's.."

"You're Shelly de Killer's client and you kidnapped Kay Faraday in the stock room to cause distraction! This card is irrefutable evidence that you are indeed at the scenes of the crime!"

"We have already established that the culprit has escaped from this window here and went through the window downstairs at the stock room in order to get in once again in the hotel, you shut down the electricity to cut off the footage from the security cameras." I explained as I pointed out at the window, Tellula's hands covered her arms gripping them in discomfort.

"At that time, no one was around at the stock room and to get out, a security card was needed to enter and exit the room. You broke the security card scanner to make your escape and to return to the event as soon as possible without anyone noticing but unfortunately the witness saw you herself exiting the said room."

Glancing towards Tellula's arm, her sleeves were turning blood red and I smirked, "After crashing two glass windows, we can't assume that one may end up harmless, can we?" Everyone else's eyes shifted towards Tellula's arms.

"I-it's bleeding?!" Franziska's mouth gaped open, her whip almost collied with Tellula. Agent Lang pulls her back, "Calm down, sis."

"As I expected." I said, "Your blood dropped on the tissues that were scattered on the floo-" I stopped myself from talking when Tellula plastered her smile once again on her face, "I might be injured but how would you prove it that it did belonged to the windows like what you had deduced?"
